Beautiful place to play ball or frisbee and let your dog explore with plenty of space. It was nice to have a dedicated trash can for poop bags, a nice dog bowl with and large bottle of water, and even a MudBuster paw wash cup.

The owner (Kim) met us on our first visit to her facility making sure we were aware of everything her Sniffspot had to offer. From our first contact with her we were greeted with friendly and helpful accommodations as she went out of her way to make sure our pup had a fantastic time. Very clean! Dog friendly ! Plenty of water and even a pool ! I was able to relax and my dog was able to stretch her legs for a little . Didn’t have to worry about cars or traffic .

Great space and very convenient location! There was a biker at one point, but there was enough space I wasn’t worried about my dog chasing him. Watch out for deer poop - my dog kept trying to eat it🤢 Will probably be a bit muddy if it’s rained in the past few days!!

Great location and such a large and open space for dog to run around! Will definitely be coming back. There are dogs across the street and up a hill - far away enough that my dog couldn’t see them. But she could hear them. She’s pretty reactive to other dogs, so it was just enough to distract her but the distance was more than enough to keep me comfortable. Just something to keep in mind if you also have a reactive dog.

Suzanne was very responsive and kind! The space is huge and has lots of sniffing spots! Our dogs got exhausted after 30 minutes. If your dog doesn’t have great recall, I’d keep them on leashes. We had a few issues with our dogs, so we just walked and ran around with them on leash to be safe!

My sister, husband and I brought our 5 dogs and they had an absolute blast! There's lots of space to run in a pack of 5 and a small pond for them to swim. The host was very friendly and welcoming! We highly recommend and will be returning!!

Great backyard, our dogs loved it! Our pups love water. Which means they got back in the car a little muddy. No biggie for us! Host is really responsive and generous with time and offerings.

Such a pretty yard!!! They even left some treats, a bowl of water, and lots of fun toys for my pup! The pool was nice & super clean, but unfortunately my dog is not a fan of the water apparently so we weren’t in it long haha

WOW! I visit a lot of parks and empty dog parks outside of peak hours in an attempt to give my dogs spots to run during our frequent cross country trips. I’ve tried a few SniffSpots now, and this is by far the best I’ve visited! Strong fencing, a wonderful layout, beautiful pool, and kind hosts. My dogs had a blast, and I’d highly recommend splurging for the extra accommodations! :)

What a great spot! A huge, beautiful yard with solid fencing and easy to find entry. The pool is so nice for a dog like mine who is older and loves a low impact workout. Everything you need for a great visit, and so loved the detail of ice cubes in the bowl! It is important to keep in mind a determined dog could jump the fence (though unlikely because the yard is huge!) And a neighbor dog came to the adjoining fence, though he didn't cause us any issue. All in all a fantastic visit!

The pool was immaculate and the entire back patio/yard area couldn’t have been prettier. Our dog’s new found love for swimming was almost entirely satiated for the day by the unfettered access to the pool. Thank you for making your space available to our pup!
What other types of private dog parks are available?
Dog water parks
Many hosts have added water features like pools and/or are nearby lakes or rivers.
If you are looking for an adventure, but also looking for safety, Sniffspot dog fields are a great option. While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, distracted dog owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private space for just you and doggy friends you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). Especially for training, privacy is ideal. Contrary to public dog parks, all Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog for off leash exercise or outdoor training. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars, while public dog parks often do not even have verified reviews. All payment is done securely online by credit card in a few simple clicks.
All park rental information is available online. Start by filtering parks by fencing, size and distractions, to find a private spot that works for your dog. If your dog has poor recall, you can visit one of our secure fields. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our dog fields where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can review the details of the listing to make sure it works as your desired activity space, for example, safe dog exercise, dog training, a stress-free adventure with your furry friend or even a puppy event. You can even check the park amenities chart for amenities such as indoor training facilities, agility field, synthetic turf, exercise balls or field parking availability in advance. If inclement weather is an issue or poor field conditions, you can reschedule your visit up to 2 hours in advance.
What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot dog field?
We require that all four-legged friends have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. Make sure to check host rules before visiting to ensure, for instance, that you are following allowable sports activities rules and any special events rules.
Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot field at the same time as me?
No. Facility rentals are for private play time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the area during visits, so this is perfect for a private adventure for you and your doggie friends, and perhaps a human friend. Hosts understand that many guests have dogs in training and are nervous owners. So when you book a Sniffspot dog field you have the entire private spot to yourself. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between time slots so you will not run into other guest dogs or a previous person when coming or leaving in the field parking area. Some hosts may have multiple fields, but there is always a buffer between fields.
