Some of the backyard fencing is chain link 5-6’ tall. It is mostly fenced with 7’ tall privacy fence put up specifically to avoid any interactions with neighbor dogs. The gate you will enter and exit through is directly behind and past the garage. We have TONS of mature trees providing plenty of shade and a thicker tree line in the very back where your pup can sniff and explore! Lots of open lawn area to play and/or train. There is currently a fence separating two parts of the backyard but feel free to open both gates and use the whole yard. I will stay inside unless you would rather I come out and meet you and your pup. We have water bowls filled and a hose right there if you need more water. Patio has multiple patio tables and chairs if you want to chill while your pup plays. I have bottled water, soda and koolaid, just ask if your thirsty! If you need me for anything just knock on the sliding glass door. I’m usually in the room right next to itI You’re more than welcome to use our restroom. It’s right inside near the backyard. I only require about 15 minutes heads up so I can make sure my dogs are put up and inside so you can enjoy the backyard alone with your dog. If your dog needs another dog friend to play with we do have several here who are extremely dog friendly and love to play ranging in size from a rat terrier up to a super sweet and friendly Doberman. Come let your dog explore, play, and swim on our beautiful family farm. Our farm means the world to us, and we think you and your pup will love it too. Located on 16 acres in Bull Valley, Illinois, our property is doggy heaven for dogs that are trained to be off-leash. Take a walk, bring a frisbee or ball, or simply let your dog sniff and explore. Please note that our property is not fenced. It connects to a beautiful piece of state-owned land, but that land is not included in your rental. Your booking covers only our 16-acre property. If you choose to go beyond our property lines, please understand that we are not responsible for the state-owned land, as it is not part of our Sniffspot. We also have many farm animals on the property, so we ask that all guests be respectful of our land and animals. We take great pride in our farm and love sharing it, and we want to keep it beautiful for everyone. Entry into any barns or buildings is prohibited. Please remain in the back of the property, as we do live on-site and appreciate our privacy. This is a working farm, so you may occasionally see cars or people near the barns and lot as you arrive. If your dog is reactive, please keep them on a leash until you reach the back field. Also, please remember that this is a farm, not a park. The ground may be uneven in places, and there may be holes or other natural hazards caused by animals or farm activity.
