Hi! I’m Joanne, and this is my dog Nifty’s favorite place in the world—so I thought I’d share it with other wonderful dogs and their people. We have 15 private acres with woods, open fields, and river access, and it’s been such a gift for my dog to have a safe space to run freely. I know not every dog thrives at dog parks, so I wanted to create a peaceful alternative. This space is especially loved by dogs who need a little extra room or prefer a quieter environment. The property is fenced along the two “long sides” which encourages your dog to stay nearby but with lots of roaming space. The fence is NOT fully secure. Please see the section about fencing. Near the cabin, there’s a cozy seating area where you can relax under the trees while your dog enjoys the space. There is a Solo Bonfire fire pit that can be rented with the last block of the day. (Currently between 6:30-8 pm) We provide a manufactured log (think Duraflame-type) with a 2 hour burn time. This is an add-on at the site using a Venmo QR code. Bottomless Smells. 100 acre farm. Lots of space for your doggos and you to roam. It is a rustic magical place. Parking is far from the street down a gravel driveway. Safe for your pup and you to get out of the car. You can park anywhere. If you feel comfortable you can drive down to the lower field to get even further away from the road. I live down the street while I am fixing up the old house. So, there maybe someone at work in the house. Once you park, the best walking is down to the creek. Go to the lower field and look for the opening in the woods. 150yards from field is the creek. On a hot day, wear good creek shoes and walk up and down creek. If you cross the creek there is a great trail that circles around to the Powerline. Warnings: 1. there are lots of deer! 2. There are old barns. Do Not enter any of the buildings! They are very dangerous!!!! I have rescued reactive dogs. I want to create a safe space for your dogs and you to enjoy this great property.

This setting is perfect for a leisurely walk/run, photo opportunities in the grass/wildflowers or with the three large oak trees as a backdrop! We often share our fields with all sorts of wildlife including Bald Eagles, Osprey, geese, pheasants, deer, owls, hawks, song birds of all varieties and the occasional partridge! If your dog likes to swim after a walk, there is a swimming spot near the Dead Creek bridge! Parking is on our 1st field road right after the Dead Creek bridge, and is directly off County Route 46. The parking area is marked in the photos. **We ask that you please park near the road and do not drive down the field road when it’s wet. We would also greatly appreciate you driving on the field road and not in the hay fields. Thank you! **The east portion of the field does have 2 paddocks of hot electric fence- it is easy to see the wire and posts. We do have beef cows/calves and large pigs that are sometimes near the fence line- they are friendly and use to dogs; however, we strongly discourage attempting to pet them, feed them, or allowing dogs to get too close to them or the fence.
