Dog Hiking Trails

Unfenced
63 acres

Come hike 63+ acres of land with trails throughout at our future homestead! The first 20 acres is grassland with multiple mowed trails. The back 43+ is wooded with one main trail circling through it and two entrance/exits. The brown “Trail Entrance” signs mark the woods. There is wetland off trail throughout the property, but mostly in the woods with a large one in the center of the trail. Water levels will vary. The trails are used for ATV’ing but make for a great hike! Plan for a picnic…we have a platform with a picnic table and garbage can available. A beautiful & peaceful spot! Note: The large pond outside the woods trail at the way back of the property is NOT ours but marks the property line shown on the aerial view photo. A “No Trespassing…” sign is posted to mark it. The woods trail runs along the border of it. You’ll see a house on the other side. This is an area you’ll hear people & other noises if they’re outside. If you see orange hunter tape in the woods and t-posts randomly in the grassland, don’t worry, those are ours to mark the trails so we don’t lose them in the Fall & Spring. If you go off trail in the woods and find deer stands, those are NOT ours and you’ve probably gone too far. *No well or city water access at this time* It’s vacant land we use recreationally right now. :)

Maplewood Private Farm Dog Park (5-acres)

Fully Fenced
5 acres

Welcome to Nessel & Luna’s Private Farm Dog Park -- a peaceful 5-acre nature escape in south Maplewood near the Battle Creek area, just minutes from I-94 and McKnight. What makes this area special is the landscape itself -- the rolling hills, small valleys, mature trees, and natural contours that make homes here feel like private nature oases tucked into the suburbs. The property sits near the top of a hill, which makes for especially beautiful sunsets. This spot gives dogs a private place to run, sniff, explore, and decompress away from crowded public parks and constant dog traffic. The main fenced play area is approx 60 ft x 100 ft, with room for fetch, wandering, and off-leash play. Beyond the fenced area, the property opens into a natural, wooded setting with grass fields, trails, logs, branches, wildlife scents, and plenty of space for dogs who love to explore. The full property is not fenced, so long leashes are ideal outside the main play area. Dogs are allowed to roam and sniff while still staying within safe recall distance. You know your dog best, so please use your judgment and keep them safe and under control. Most neighbors have back fences that border our property. I’m also a builder/carpenter, and I’m constantly working to improve the play area and add new amenities so the space becomes more fun, useful, and enriching for dogs. Check back for future upgrades, including agility-style platforms, climbing features, a heavy-duty spring pole for dogs who love tug and high-energy play, a slatmill/treadmill, and a dedicated water play area during warmer months. There is also a campfire area available at no extra charge for guests who book visits longer than 3 hours. Please let me know ahead of time if you would like to use it. This is a great fit for dogs who need privacy, dogs who do not do well at public dog parks, dogs building confidence, working breeds with energy to burn, or owners who simply want a quiet, spacious place where their dog can be a dog. I just opened this Sniffspot recently, so I welcome guest feedback on how to keep improving the space and making it safer, easier, and more enjoyable for dogs and their people. Resident dogs (two) will be kept separate during visits. Please supervise your dog, clean up before leaving, and close all gates behind you.

Poppy's Play Prairie: 15 acres of fun!

Partially Fenced
15 acres

🌸🌿🌱🌦️ Welcome to Spring at Poppy’s! The prairie and woods are coming alive! But spring also brings unpredictable weather, leading to changing conditions on the trails. Please come prepared for mud and uneven trails. But we can always promise excellent sniffs and adventure for your 4-legged friends no matter what! **Fostering a dog? Message for special discounts** This is our private residence. Our dogs love walking the trails, sprinting through the woods, and diving through the prairie grasses. We love offering other pups the chance to enjoy it too! The trails are mostly wooded, and there is a ravine with a small creek (often dry in the summer). There are areas of trails, woods, prairie, and mowed grass. There is a barbed-wire fence marking the property line around the property, however it is not fully-fenced. Your dog will need to know to stay close enough to you or respond to your calls. *Poop bags provided* 10% of all profit is donated to dog rescue organizations

Kay's 10 Acre Partially Fenced Private Dog Park In Corcoran

Partially Fenced
10 acres

Plan is to open site by June 30, 2026. Front area will have a securely fenced area, as well as adjacent grassy unfenced area. Upon following the driveway to behind the residence, there is another less securely fenced area. This area exits to a pond area and another bigger grassy area. At the point that the path crosses over the creek, a sign posted will request dogs to be leashed beyond that point, both for safety and for the purpose of avoiding intruding upon the neighbor’s property. Various walking paths will be cleared through the small woods, after which walkers may double back and complete their trek in the area around the barn and residence. There will be a small picnic area outside of the front fully fenced private dog park area.

Frequently asked questions about Camden dog hiking trails

Why are private dog hiking trails better than public dog parks in Camden?

Private dog hiking trails in Camden eliminate major public park risks: unpredictable dog encounters that scare puppies, aggressive dogs that trigger reactive behavior, chaotic crowds that overwhelm seniors or small dogs, and disease transmission from dozens of unknown dogs. Camden's 12 private dog hiking trails offer complete privacy, professionally maintained cleanliness, and controlled environments. Whether you have a fearful puppy, a reactive adult, a fragile senior, or simply want peace of mind, private bookings give you control.

How safe are Camden dog hiking trails compared to public dog parks?

Camden dog hiking trails are significantly safer than public facilities. Public dog parks risk: aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission, overcrowding that triggers reactive behaviors or injuries. Private Camden dog hiking trails eliminate these concerns—bookings are completely private, all guests have vaccinated dogs (or titers), and hosts maintain clean spaces. 93% of Sniffspot reviews are 5 stars.

Are Camden dog hiking trails safe for reactive dogs?

Camden owners of reactive dogs choose dog hiking trails because they offer safe, private environments for off-leash exercise without the triggers of public dog parks. Complete privacy means no unexpected dog encounters, no overwhelming chaos, no aggressive dogs. Reactive dogs can finally enjoy natural exploration and varied terrain while building confidence in a controlled setting. Many Camden reactive dog owners say Sniffspot is their only safe exercise option.

Can anxious dogs safely use Camden dog hiking trails?

Yes! Camden dog hiking trails provide controlled environments perfect for anxious or fearful dogs. No other dogs means no triggers, no overwhelming situations. Anxious dogs can explore a natural outdoor path where dogs can explore varied terrain off-leash in a safe, private environment at their own pace without stress. Many Camden dog hiking trails offer quiet, spacious settings ideal for building confidence in nervous dogs who struggle at chaotic public dog parks.

Are Camden dog hiking trails good for small dogs?

Absolutely! Small dogs benefit enormously from Camden dog hiking trails because they can explore without fear of being trampled or intimidated by larger breeds. Many small dog owners in Camden avoid public parks entirely due to safety concerns—dog hiking trails eliminate that worry. Filter for appropriate sizing, secure fencing with no gaps, and hosts who understand petite pup needs.

Do Camden dog hiking trails work for senior dogs?

Yes! Senior dogs thrive at Camden dog hiking trails because they can move at their own pace without being knocked over by rambunctious puppies or young dogs. Look for Camden dog hiking trails with flat terrain, easy access, shade, and smaller sizes if your senior has mobility limitations. The privacy means your older dog can rest when needed and enjoy gentle exercise without stress.

What do Camden dog owners say about dog hiking trails?

Reviews of Camden dog hiking trails consistently highlight: excellent privacy for all dog types, secure fencing that prevented escapes, clean and well-maintained spaces, responsive hosts, and safe environments for anxious, fearful, reactive, senior, and small dogs. Local favorite Poppy's Play Prairie: 15 acres of fun! is particularly praised in Camden. Read reviews to see real experiences from Camden dog owners with similar needs.

How clean and maintained are Camden dog hiking trails?

Camden hosts maintain their own dog hiking trails and take pride in providing excellent experiences. All guests must have vaccinated dogs (or titers). Many Camden hosts provide poop bags, trash cans, and regular cleaning. Reviews highlight maintenance quality—browse Camden dog hiking trail listings to see real feedback about cleanliness and upkeep.
