My fence is secured with chicken wire but if your dog likes to jump/escape yards, this may not be a good fit as its not crazy tall (I believe its 5ft but will measure). I do live in a neighborhood with other barking dogs- my neighbor behind me has one male Frenchie that is neutral but will come up to the fence when he is let out to potty.
