What a beautiful property, wonderful trails. Gorgeous views. Enjoyed a wonderful hike, the creek, pond and hilltop. Can’t wait to come back again on a sunny day ☀️ It was so nice to see Egypt be able to enjoy the trails without the stress of other dogs or people.

This spot was amazing! So much space for my dogs to roam and sniff all they want. We had fun in the field and on the trails. There is plenty of space for them to be off leash but make sure they have great recall as it is a large forested area. The trilliums are blooming right now on one of the trails and it’s beautiful. It is tick season and we took 6 off our two dogs after almost 2 hours in the forest. We found another 2 when we got home so definitely a hot spot for them so come prepared. We had so much fun and are definitely coming back! Thanks again for a great time!

The trails are lovely and the host was so sweet! My dog had a blast! There are trails, fields, a creek and a pond! Definitely recommend!

A gorgeous property, beautifully maintained, with a fun hike up to an amazing view. I wish I lived closer for more visits! Next time I will book at least a couple hours, there were more trails to explore and it was lovely just to relax for a few minutes up at the cabin. I'm not sure who enjoyed it more, me or my dogs!

We had a great time walking the trails. They were well marked and very clear. The forest wasn’t super grown in either, so my dog could run off trail and meet back up with me. The view from the top of the hill where the fire pit is was awesome. I’m sure it would be great to have a fire up there. There’s a running creek and a pond. Part of one trail did cut through the creek, so depending on time of year you’d be best off wearing waterproof shoes as I had to walk through the water. There is an open area with a picnic table which was a good resting spot for me (my calves were not ready for the hill up to the cabin), while my dog could explore around. There are chickens in the front yard (enclosed) but if your dog is likely to react to them I’d recommend keeping them on leash until you’re into the trail system. I could also hear a small dog barking near the cabin at the end of the farmer’s trail which wasn’t a problem for us and they seemed far away, but might be good to note.

A great spot! The trails were well marked and clear. The host was very responsive and let us know the trail conditions in advance, so we made sure to wear proper footwear. There is a pond (not well suited for swimming, but it did not stop my retriever) and a small creek to cool off. We will be visiting again!
