So we created our own little backyard heaven for them and would love to share it with others ! Whether it be your dog needs lots of space to run, or prefers to take it slow and sniff around, maybe they are a bit shy or reactive to other dogs/people, our backyard is the perfect space for them to relax, feel safe and explore on their own terms! Lakes in Ontario are often full of high levels of 🦠 bacteria, which can be harmful to pets, don’t risk it, stay safe by bringing them to the pool ☺️ We do have 5 dogs, so you may hear some barking from inside, but there will be NO visible or personal contact from our dogs. Pool- if you would like to use the pool with your dog, we would be happy to have you come kick back and relax 😎 This is an additional fee per person per hour and must be booked in the “extra” section when booking in your dog(s) We will provide a towel and float for you! 🥰 4 people max, and for 2 hours max. (longer bookings can be accommodated please message to book) No children under 3 in the pool please. No alcohol permitted on the property. We on the other hand are 100% private just for you, and our prices are per hour not just 20 minutes. It is beside one of the many walking and bike trails. The lowest and largest area in this dog park sits on a flood plain. You may see a water build up like a pond, which eventually recedes to a layer of an ankle deep water beneath the grass that is not readily visible before it totally dries out. This occurs during the spring thaw and/or after a heavy rain. As such, some guests recommend keeping a pair of rainboots or beach footwear. Your dogs can play in or around it if they want, and it's entirely up to you. While there are no potential hazards, there are mosquiitoes that a bite can cause allergies to some. Mosquitoes are most active between dusk and dawn, specifically around sunrise and sunset. In the Markham area, peak mosquito season runs from May through September, with activity increasing dramatically on warm, humid days when temperatures exceed 10°C

Welcome to Beaverton's Dog Trails! Please access the trails from Concession 6. Punch these coordinates into Google Maps: 44.4415942, -79.1065234. There is a SniffSpot Sign at the entrance. You may park in the private driveway. At times the river will be high, and you may only be able to cross the river on the white trail as there is a bridge. Please be advised that you are in bear territory. Carry the bear spray provided if it makes you more comfortable. Please pick up after your dog, there is a waste bin at the entrance. Please help yourself to a laminated map at the entrance and return after your walk. The map is posted throughout the trails with "you are here" symbols to help you navigate the trails. There is also bug spray in the cabinet at the trail entrance. If trails are blocked off with caution tape, they are temporarily closed. Enjoy your visit!
