*** Happy 2025!! *** This year marks the 3rd year I have been open, and it has been such an amazing experience. I have loved seeing every one of the dogs and meeting all of you owners! I was able to add a few improvements this year which I hoped helped in the areas it was needed. I still have a long list to fulfill and as always, I am open to suggestions, what is needed, what is not needed! Again, I am always open to and appreciate feedback. Thank you ALL for making such a great thing even better by your participation and enjoying the space that we feel blessed to be able to offer. * Just a reminder that it is always flea and tick season. We do not treat the pastures with any spray so be mindful about using whatever treatment your vet recommends. *I am repairing part of the pasture that is on my side of the property, this is going to cause me to need the far far back pasture for the use of my horses more often. If you see them in the far back field, just consider that area closed. I do try and move them over off of it for most of the week. 11/1/2025 Updates. Hot/Cold wash on hold. We are going into the WET season, I will try and have towels out but always suggest bringing some. Consider weather appropriate attire. The barn offers coverage, but it can still be windy and cold in there as well. We added more granite to safely pull all the way in and park. ** PLEASE DO NOT TURN AROUND IN THE YARD OR THE PASTURE ** it will start to get too wet to pull all the way in off the granite areas and vehicles will get stuck. And this tears up the pasture, yard area. I am trying to come up with shaded areas in the far far back pasture. That may take more planning and time. But it is on the list. We also dug the small pond a little deeper and boy howdy is the water flowing right now!

Grace Dog Park in Myrtle Creek

Fully Fenced
1 acre

Welcome! The park is FOR SALE, but in the meantime it is operating as normal. Interested parties can find the listing by searching RMLS #737128245. The realtor is Troy Schuyler 541-643-1131, Keller Williams Southern Oregon-Umpqua Valley. First-time guests receive a $5 discount with the coupon code "TRYTHESPOT25”. Conveniently located less than one mile off Interstate-5 at exit 103. This exit features a gas station, Starbucks, Grocery Outlet, Tesla charging stations, McDonald’s, Tractor Supply (dog toys!), a donut shop, Dollar Tree, and more. This approximately one-acre park is fully fenced with brand new 5’ tall non-climb wire fencing. There are two gates for access: a walk-through gate if you choose to park on the wide gravel shoulder along the road, and a drive-through gate which allows you to bring your vehicle inside the park onto a large gravel parking area to unload your furry friends. Inside the park you will find a gently sloped grassy field with some nice flat areas also. There is a 12'x14' covered shelter to keep you out of the rain or sun. We have a real, vintage fire hydrant for your dog’s “enjoyment”. There several play structures for the pups: a 3-tiered platform with ramps, dog jumps, a balance beam, and a long bench-like platform. Dogs only on the play features please - not for humans to climb on. There are also multiple resin benches around the park for your enjoyment. In the summer a small wading pool is available for you to use for cooling of the pups-always monitor your dogs or children if using the wading pool. Some rock wall terraces about 2’ to 3’ tall can be used for sitting, and for your larger breed dogs to jump up and down on. There are Adirondack chairs and a large wooden picnic table for the humans as well as the dogs (our Lab loves to jump up on top and take in the view). A water hydrant provides fresh water from our local municipal water source, Tri City Water, and you will find water pails for every size of dog. Nearby is a mailbox with doo doo bags, hand sanitizer, wet wipes, and paper towels. You will also find two wooden crates: one filled with an assortment of toys, and the other provides a nice stick library for your pooch to choose from. Please note: both gates open inwards into the park. Seven or eight months out of the year you will find green grass (and weeds), in the summer months it will be dry dormant grass. The park is always kept mowed (except for fire season) and there will be no tall grass or weedy areas. We do not spray any herbicides or pesticides of any kind inside the park or along the fence lines. This park does not share a fence line with any other properties and there is a wide perimeter around the park on three sides. The fourth side is along Crest Drive, a medium trafficked residential road. There are some neighboring small dogs along the back line that will say hello now and then, but there is a 80’ buffer between the fence lines on this side. We respect your privacy while using the park, and even though we would love to come over and play with every dog visitor and say hello to their humans, we will only meet you by specific request. Generally the park is available to book during daylight hours, but there is some flexibility for your special requests. If you choose to park your vehicle inside the park, please open the gate slowly so that it doesn’t swing against the post too quickly. Both gates have combination locks on them. USE THE TOP LINE ON THE LOCKS WITH THE RED MARKS for the code. The current code will be provided upon scheduling your visit. This is a non-smoking park. Alcoholic beverages and drug use are also not allowed in the park. Please do not play loud music in the park. If you are ever unsatisfied with your visit for any reason, we will gladly contact Sniffspot and request a refund. We are appreciate your visits and are happy to share this space with you and your dogs. If you have questions about your booking of visit please call 541-643-9853. Thank you for choosing the Grace Park Sniffspot!

Rural Meadows & Forested Dog Park 5 miles outside of Rogue River

Unfenced
5 acres

We own 40 beautiful acres that back up to BLM government forest land up the mountain. You can enjoy a smaller lower meadow that has meadow grass with a picnic table, and an in ground burn pit with seating or choose a slightly larger more rustic meadow that offers a nice open space that's another great spot for dogs to be free and enjoy being dogs! Either meadow is great for playing fetch, where you can throw frisbees, balls, or other toys. It's a great training ground, bring your training items or it's a nice place to just hang out together, like day camping. Make a day out of it and use an available propane BBQ to cook up some hot dogs or burgers (bring your own food) while you enjoy hanging with your fur babies. If you feel like hiking up rough mountain terrain, you can, if that's your thing. We have several picnic tables, and BBQ's, as well as hoses for water (April through September), and a year round porta potty. We also have a large dog cage option if needed, (let us know). We look forward to hosting you at your Dog fun space in the country! All Water Service is only available April through September annually, so please know that other months the water spickets are Winterized, due to freezing pipe protection. You can bring your own dog water dish and if there is no freezing, you can use one of 3 water spickets to fill. Please be sure to turn it off if no water comes out - so our well doesn't run dry when it thaws. Thank you! Winter months it's best to just bring your own water and dish.

Frequently asked questions about Central Point dog fields

Why are private dog fields better than public dog parks in Central Point?

Private dog fields in Central Point eliminate major public park risks: unpredictable dog encounters that scare puppies, aggressive dogs that trigger reactive behavior, chaotic crowds that overwhelm seniors or small dogs, and disease transmission from dozens of unknown dogs. Central Point's 21 private dog fields offer complete privacy, professionally maintained cleanliness, and controlled environments. Whether you have a fearful puppy, a reactive adult, a fragile senior, or simply want peace of mind, private bookings give you control.

How safe are Central Point dog fields compared to public dog parks?

Central Point dog fields are significantly safer than public facilities. Public dog parks risk: aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission, overcrowding that triggers reactive behaviors or injuries. Private Central Point dog fields eliminate these concerns—bookings are completely private, all guests have vaccinated dogs (or titers), and hosts maintain clean spaces. 93% of Sniffspot reviews are 5 stars.

Are Central Point dog fields safe for reactive dogs?

Central Point owners of reactive dogs choose dog fields because they offer safe, private environments for off-leash exercise without the triggers of public dog parks. Complete privacy means no unexpected dog encounters, no overwhelming chaos, no aggressive dogs. Reactive dogs can finally enjoy full-speed running and fetch while building confidence in a controlled setting. Many Central Point reactive dog owners say Sniffspot is their only safe exercise option.

Can anxious dogs safely use Central Point dog fields?

Yes! Central Point dog fields provide controlled environments perfect for anxious or fearful dogs. No other dogs means no triggers, no overwhelming situations. Anxious dogs can explore a large, open grass area where dogs can run at full speed and play fetch at their own pace without stress. Many Central Point dog fields offer quiet, spacious settings ideal for building confidence in nervous dogs who struggle at chaotic public dog parks.

Are Central Point dog fields good for small dogs?

Absolutely! Small dogs benefit enormously from Central Point dog fields because they can explore without fear of being trampled or intimidated by larger breeds. Many small dog owners in Central Point avoid public parks entirely due to safety concerns—dog fields eliminate that worry. Filter for appropriate sizing, secure fencing with no gaps, and hosts who understand petite pup needs.

Do Central Point dog fields work for senior dogs?

Yes! Senior dogs thrive at Central Point dog fields because they can move at their own pace without being knocked over by rambunctious puppies or young dogs. Look for Central Point dog fields with flat terrain, easy access, shade, and smaller sizes if your senior has mobility limitations. The privacy means your older dog can rest when needed and enjoy gentle exercise without stress.

What do Central Point dog owners say about dog fields?

Reviews of Central Point dog fields consistently highlight: excellent privacy for all dog types, secure fencing that prevented escapes, clean and well-maintained spaces, responsive hosts, and safe environments for anxious, fearful, reactive, senior, and small dogs. Local favorite Orange Dog Acres is particularly praised in Central Point. Read reviews to see real experiences from Central Point dog owners with similar needs.

How clean and maintained are Central Point dog fields?

Central Point hosts maintain their own dog fields and take pride in providing excellent experiences. All guests must have vaccinated dogs (or titers). Many Central Point hosts provide poop bags, trash cans, and regular cleaning. Reviews highlight maintenance quality—browse Central Point dog field listings to see real feedback about cleanliness and upkeep.
