55Great spot! My big dog loved it. My little guy of course got lost by the river but that’s my fault. He also got a hurt eye - maybe nettles? That part’s his fault ;). We’ll be back! Amaren C.

55We really enjoyed this spot. The trail is a switch back on the side of a forested hill. The dogs had so much fun exploring. We couldn’t make it to the creek because it got too muddy, but we still had a lot of fun on the other sections. Kristy S.

55Pups absolutely loved the creek at the bottom which was just barely deep enough to swim in! For the humans, it was a steep muddy jaunt to get down there, lots of nettle and rogue sticks. I'm a bit scratched up and would wear pants next time.
The first yard with the barn is fully fenced. The second yard through the smaller gate is surrounded by fencing or sometimes bushes. Then there are trails headed down to the creek which is just lovely.Diana H.

55Our dogs enjoyed the different smells, especially the livestock area and the variety of vegetation. We didn’t even do much trail exploring and we are bringing home two happy and tired pups. Thanks again!Chelsea M.

55Amazing spot! We didn’t go down the trail since my dog doesn’t have very reliable recall, but the rest of the yard was super large and we had a great time! Danni M.

55Nice spot with multiple areas to explore. If your dog has good recall, the trails and creek are lots of fun for the dogs. It's like having your own private hiking trail to explore/swim. It is definitely more treacherous for humans to navigate as described in the listing (steep, muddy), but doable. I would suggest tall boots and pants for the humans as there is tall grass, nettles, and mud to navigate. Ally M.

55This spot was amazing. My dog is currently learning recall and too afraid of water to cross it so the creek with the steep small cliff on the other side was a perfect barrier for him. Some of the trails are pretty steep, if you have a dog who pulls hard on a leash like mine, I suggest bringing a friend. Definitely bring some sort of shoe with tread and that you’re okay with getting muddy, or you will struggle. 10/10 can’t wait to go back. Brittany R.

55We had a great time here! This is my senior pit’s favorite Sniffspot so far. The grass was tall, which was a plus for our pups, and the barn was full of sniffles as promised! They offered a bucket of fresh water (which my doodle promptly climbed in and tipped over 😂) and toys. Oh, and the pups sniffed out a bunny! We’ll be back for sure!Tyger R.

55My pup had a terrific time playing with Argo in the water and mud!! That said, dress for ankle deep mud if walking down to the creek, a walking stick helps, and wear protective clothing for stinging nettles and brambles. The water tubs and hose did an excellent job of cleaning off my dog before heading home. Great adventure!Denise M.

55Upon arrival, we parked across the street. The fence was sturdy and held our dog, he's about 40 pounds. It is a little hill when you first go in. We were fine but my mil had a harder time. It is exactly as described. We heard a rooster, and traffic zipped by fast! Neither was an issue for us. Be aware, if you aren't going down to the water and just want to watch your dog sniff, bring a chair. It was warm out and we left a little early, but if it wasn't for the temp and the mil we would have stayed longer. We definitely want to go back with our dogs that are younger to explore the water. There were a couple toys in a basket and some poo bags for you. But no water dish, make sure to bring one and water. There are lovely apple trees and a few mullein plants. I think as they keep working on it, the space will just get better and better. Thank you for having us, Roscoe has been an apartment dog for a few years now and not been able to roam. He was exhausted from his trip. He gives it 2 Paws upShelley W.

55We had a fabulous time! The hiking sticks were greatly appreciated - although I decided not to go down all the way to the creek. There were lots of sniffs to be had, and I enjoyed the beautiful wildness of the fenced in field. Super pretty spot and hazards were as described by the host. Laura H.

55We had a ton of fun here! The walk down to the creek is muddy and has several switchbacks, so be sure to pack your boots and a towel, and it would be a good idea to use the provided walking sticks! The host kindly provides a tub to rinse off your friends (or yourself, if you ~ahem~ slip down the bank in the mud). All in all, a great time for your pup!Chaun & Juli M.

55Great space to let some high energy dogs run it out. The hose water is filtered so it's safe to drink for any sensitive doggys. The trails to the creek are pretty steep but Liz has some solid walking sticks to use. Overall a really great place for some big dog playtime🥳Josie R.

FAQ about our Gresham dog fields
Are dog fields safe?
If you are looking for an adventure, but also looking for safety, Sniffspot dog fields are a great option. While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, distracted dog owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private space for just you and doggy friends you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). Especially for training, privacy is ideal. Contrary to public dog parks, all Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog for off leash exercise or outdoor training. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars, while public dog parks often do not even have verified reviews. All payment is done securely online by credit card in a few simple clicks.
How can I find dog fields in Gresham?
There are 82 dog fields in the Gresham area. The most popular dog field is Field of Dreams. You can browse all of our dog fields here.
How do I know if a dog field works for my dog?
All park rental information is available online. Start by filtering parks by fencing, size and distractions, to find a private spot that works for your dog. If your dog has poor recall, you can visit one of our secure fields. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our dog fields where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can review the details of the listing to make sure it works as your desired activity space, for example, safe dog exercise, dog training, a stress-free adventure with your furry friend or even a puppy event. You can even check the park amenities chart for amenities such as indoor training facilities, agility field, synthetic turf, exercise balls or field parking availability in advance. If inclement weather is an issue or poor field conditions, you can reschedule your visit up to 2 hours in advance.
What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot dog field?
We require that all four-legged friends have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. Make sure to check host rules before visiting to ensure, for instance, that you are following allowable sports activities rules and any special events rules.
Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot field at the same time as me?
No. Facility rentals are for private play time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the area during visits, so this is perfect for a private adventure for you and your doggie friends, and perhaps a human friend. Hosts understand that many guests have dogs in training and are nervous owners. So when you book a Sniffspot dog field you have the entire private spot to yourself. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between time slots so you will not run into other guest dogs or a previous person when coming or leaving in the field parking area. Some hosts may have multiple fields, but there is always a buffer between fields.
How much do Sniffspot fields cost?
Dog fields in the Gresham area range from $6.0 and $6.0. The least expensive dog field is 1/2 plus acre of fully fenced forest. The most expensive dog field is 1/2 plus acre of fully fenced forest. Each host sets their own price, so you can check the price on the specific Sniffspot dog park listing.
