Multiple private trails wind through a scenic hemlock and maple forest, providing ample opportunities for dogs to sniff, run, and explore. You may see deer, wild turkeys, and other wildlife. Trails are well maintained and easily accessible, but may sometimes have muddy spots depending on weather. A small creek runs throughout. Most trail areas are accessible for all-terrain dog strollers or carts, but some areas have tree roots or other naturally occurring obstacles that may be more difficult to access. Your dogs will love wander along the abandoned railroad bed, trekking through the shale-bottomed stream, or relaxing while overlooking the water. While mostly shallow, the stream deepens at points for short swims. Your dog will love the rocks and sticks and playing in the water. The site is approximately 3 acres with a quarter mile marked trail. The wifi works well here too, well enough to live-stream.

We have five acres on mostly wooded land that we’d love to share with your dog/s! Behind the house there is a large mowed lawn/hill that leads to a pond that’s perfect for chasing frogs and swimming. Behind the pond are trails and bridges through the woods. There are chairs for people at various places around the property and a hose by the driveway to wash off muddy pups. There is no bathroom for people but the town of franklinville is ten minutes away and there’s a great coffee shop there to stop of the way to or from the property.
