Our fenced in property with a orchard and large open space has been adored by many dogs and other pets we have cared for many years. We respect and understand how important it is to interact with your dog in a protected safe area with out worry of having a stressful issue with your dog and another dog or person. We live on a private road and the traffic is limited. All dogs that visit our yard appear to go home happy and content and always run straight for the yard when they come back!

Shaker Field Dog Park

Chelsy's 29 Acre Unfenced Private Dog Park In Warren

Located in Warren, just under 30 minutes from Plymouth, and minutes away from the Baker River and other lovely walks and attractions, is 29 acres of private trails and bushwhacking, backed by conservation (also great bushwhacking!) and National Forest after that. There is a dog on site if you’re looking for doggy playtime and someone to run with- or you can venture alone with a small amount of notice. This site also hosts two pet-friendly forest Airbnb’s though it’s not usual to run into others. There is a small-ish vernal pond (usually stays somewhat full all year) at the bottom of the property if you’re looking to play in the mud- if not it’s easy to avoid. There are penned chickens in a coop at the main dwelling.

Watson Upper Valley Dog Park

Welcome to our quiet, creekside dog spot! This is a peaceful, private fenced yard located beside beautiful Otter Brook—perfect for dogs (and owners!) who enjoy nature and water. The fenced play area is approximately 5,000 sq ft and offers plenty of room for sniffing, exploring, and zoomies. Just outside the fence, you’ll find the brook, which guests are welcome to enjoy with leashed dogs. It’s a great spot for pups who love to splash! What’s included: * 4 ft tall fenced yard * Chairs and picnic table for relaxing * Fresh water bowls * Dog toys * Poop scooper * Off-street driveway parking Important fencing & access notes (please read): Our Sniffspot is designed to be a simple, affordable place for dogs to safely enjoy off-leash time in nature. The fencing is basic 4 ft welded wire fencing and works well for most dogs, but please keep the following in mind: * Not recommended for skilled jumpers or climbers. * Very small dogs may be able to squeeze through gaps near the bottom of the fence or around the gate. * The entrance gate is secured with a green bungee cord. Please fasten it exactly as you found it (or as shown on the posted instructions) to ensure the gate remains securely closed. * We strongly recommend doing a quick perimeter check upon arrival to make sure the space is a good fit for your dog. Accessibility: The fenced yard can be reached by either: * Stone steps (please note there is currently no handrail), or * A gradual grassy slope alongside the road, which many guests find to be an easier alternative. Environment: * Quiet, peaceful setting with very little foot traffic. * Located near a road, so occasional passing cars may be seen or heard. * A brook runs alongside the property outside the fenced area. * Wildlife such as birds, squirrels, wild turkeys, and deer are occasionally spotted. ⚠️ For safety, our tie-out line is not available for guest use.

Bear Brook Canine Camp

Fully fenced in approximately two acres. We now have lighting for nighttime use. Approximately five times around the property perimeter equals a mile. We have chuck-it throws and balls, many toys, sand/digging areas, pools and agility equipment in a large, fenced area for you and your dog to romp around. Main entrance to the yard can be found by entering the second driveway and parking in the designated parking area in front of the solar barn. We do not plow that driveway in the winter as it’s just gravel. So, feel free to park at the bottom of my driveway and walk to the SS gate if you’re not comfortable using the SS driveway in the winter. We ask that you please adhere to our 24 hour notice when changing or canceling a reservation. We are always fully booked on weekends and most weekdays too. We feature a 6-foot solid wooden privacy fence enclosing a spacious, nearly quarter-acre grass yard—perfect for reactive, anxious, or high-energy dogs who need room to sprint without outside distractions. Human guests can relax comfortably under our shaded gazebo while dogs explore. We provide everything you need for a perfect visit, including fresh water, clean toys, and a fully stocked waste station (pooper scooper, bags, and dedicated trash bin). Come enjoy a completely private, safe playdate!" We would be honored to share our yard with you and your furry friend. We recently lost our Dog, Bailey Boots who loved to sunbathe and was an anxious reactive dog so this was her safe space. We hope this is the same for you and yours. Note: There are neighbor dogs who go out 2x a day for no longer than 10 min to the right side of our yard. We have 2 indoor cats but they can’t be seen if you are in the yard.

Enjoy a peaceful Vermont nature escape with your dog on our approximately 15-acre unfenced private forest property. The forest is natural and undeveloped, with no maintained trails or paths, making it perfect for dogs and owners who enjoy exploring the woods and a more rustic outdoor experience. Guests have access to a designated portion of our private pond, including a picnic table, an additional table with chairs, and a fire pit near the water. Firewood is available for purchase, and we can also provide a charcoal grill upon request. Please note that the entire pond is not part of the Sniffspot. The property owners and other guests may occasionally use a separate area of the pond/property outside of the designated Sniffspot area. The property is not fenced, so we recommend a long leash for dogs without reliable recall.

It’s fully secure and suitable for both large and small dogs. Your pup will love exploring the variety of scents left behind by local wildlife—birds, squirrels, chipmunks, and the occasional raccoon or fox make for an exciting visit!
