This is a beautiful and scenic spot. My dogs really enjoyed exploring and running around! The host was very friendly and checked if we would need anything before our visit. We will definitely visit again.

Cool little space. Personalized welcome sign. Treats, water, bowl, and paw cleaning supplies left out for us since it had been rainy recently. Poop bags and scooper provided.

The space was securely fenced and clean. Chris responded quickly to my message. There will be shade in the summer.

Fence wasn’t quit as secure as my dog needs but it was fully fenced and a nice big yard. Kyle’s easy to communicate with.

This was our first Sniffspot experience and it was great! A beautiful location out in the county, clear indicators where to go, and a nicely mown area. The fencing is substantial, and the area is a decent size, but allows your dog to be in sight at all times. We had fun trying out the agility equipment and playing with some of the provided toys. There’s also plenty of places to sit while your dog runs around. My dog tired herself out and had a blast. She also enjoyed the complementary dog biscuit. We’d definitely come back!

Very clean and fun ability equipment. Only had to leave our schedule time early because our husky tired himself out in the summer heat.

Just as wonderful as before! Different grandpuppy with me this time who had a wonderful time sniffing everything, which is what his breed is supposed to do.

We absolutely loved this experience and so did both our dogs! There was water bowls, dog treats, plenty of toys and a whole agility course and chairs and picnic table to sit for humans. We will definitely be regulars here!

We love this spot!! We’ve gone several times now, and it’s always clean, well kept, beautiful country scenery, and secure! The host seems very friendly, has responded anytime I’ve messaged (even to silly questions when I was new to Sniffspot), gone above and beyond when my 5yr old child left his glove behind, and doesn’t come out to chat which would be super stressful for my pups! My 3 yr Shepherd Mix that I adopted in February had not had much exposure to the outside world. He’s leash reactive, and I learned he reacts to the chickens that roam in the afternoon in the fenced in area next to the dog area here. The host graciously let me know that I could try morning times as the chickens only roam from after 12pm. It was the perfect solution for my pups and we book in the morning when we can. Well worth the $15!

A lovely view, a picnic table, and chairs for humans. And for the pups- a clean, large, secure, grassy space complete with balls, a chuck-it, frisbees, agility equipment, chickens to gaze at through the fence, water, and water bowls. Plus a milk bone treat as a welcome gift! What more could you want? We will return.

My grandfurbaby and I had a great time! Chunk much preferred the park’s toys over his own. The scenery is amazing and the hosts were incredibly friendly and accommodating. We will be back! Thank you :)

My two minature daushands had so much fun sniffing, running, and using the enrichment toys. The scenery was beautiful and plenty of places for me to sit and still be able to watch them. Definitely will be visiting again. Thank you for sharing this space!

We had a great time and the views are beautiful. Area was very clean. My dogs loved playing with all the toys and then take a break in the shade of the picnic table. They noticed the chickens but were more curious about checking everything else out than trying to figure out what they were. We will be back for sure!

Safe, clean, large area to play! My granddog loved catching the balls and watching the chickens. Very easy to find. You just follow the orange cones back to the fenced in area. Beautiful views of the countryside and places to sit if you want. Water, poop bags, toys all on site.

FAQ about our Dubuque dog parks

Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 100% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Dubuque area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
You can filter Sniffspot dog parks by fencing and distractions. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our 3 fully fenced dog parks in the area. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our 2 off leash areas where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can also filter locations to avoid other domestic animals and people. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions.
