Only natural horticulture vingear for spot weed control. This area is located beside Bear Creek and when the creek is high or after a good rain IT WILL BE MUDDY on the right side of the property! Dry creekbed located across the back of the property. **The Creek is NOT accessible from the fenced property** -Water hose on site for use. Dog shower/bath area to the right of the shed with dog wash hose attached, shampoo, and wash shammy. Or you may bring your own bath supplies! Welcome! Right now its VERY basic. We are looking add on more fun attractions. The booking includes a .25 acre of a fully fenced in area. This area provides ample space to play or just hang out with your dog. We are about 15 minutes outside of down town Winston-Salem. Just far enough away to feel like you are out in the country. Of course, we are bias, but the area is very peaceful. In sharing our land we hope to provide folks with a safe place that you can enjoy watching your dog explore and play. Amenties: - Dog toys / tennis balls, herding ball, and tug toys - Agility obstacles / a small set of cones and poles to jump over - Chairs / 3 lawn chairs - First aid kit / one for humans and one for dogs - Bug Spray - Hand Towels/ to dry off (no worries if they get muddy) - Wet wipes / to clean your dogs muddy paws - Poop Bags Please Note: When using the water hydrant, we are on a well! Because of being on a well we would appreciate you double checking to make sure the water is off before you depart :) We have changed the sniff spot listing slightly. Slys Peace Trail

Located in the foothills, the Slys Peace trail was created for dog stimulation. The trail starts at the lower end of the pasture and follows the creek meandering through a rhododendron forest. Situated at the base of 100 acres of wooded ridge land, the hike offers a wilderness experience customized to your comfort zone. There are multiple trails to accommodate your level of exercise. The full experience will require crossing the creek multiple times and is recommended for those with hiking experience. Trails are easy to follow with multiple exits that lead out to the pasture. This is dog heaven. Let your dog be a dog. To locate the gate entrance watch for the Giant metal horse. His nose points the way. Follow the fenceline a few hundred feet where you will find the gate just before the power line easement. There is now a large Sniff Spot sign securely attached.

The perimeter of my property is fenced so you know you’re still on my property. However, it is triple strand so dogs could go through it. We do have chickens and ducks that free roam. We also have other animals that will be contained in the barnyard behind the barn. Drive straight down driveway towards RV. There will be a gate straightahead and another gate to the left. Park anywhere there and use either gate. The gate to the left leads to that big field and the creek runs the length of it. The other gate leads to the back and crosses over the creek. Walk up there just a bit and you will see a path to the left. It goes up to another open field.

We have a water spigot inside dog lot near steps. Please DO NOT use the water spigot in the open field near edge of driveway (handle will not cut off water supply!) No bowls provided due to sanitation so please bring a water bowl. Our property is over 0.2 miles from any public road. Enjoy the quiet country setting and have fun!

We have comfortable furniture including a wonderful glider in the shade, several benches with cushions, a hammock, zero gravity recliner, pillows and a lounging blanket are always included. We have no cameras. Your privacy is very important to us. Your dog can do nothing wrong here. Let them Dig, Bark, Sniff and Play. Everything begins at our Sunflower She Shed. You will find everything you need there. For people Extras are available such as snacks and cold drinks and frozen ice cream found in the Sunflower She Shed refrigerator/freezer.
