Better Than Home 25 Acre Partially Fenced Private Dog Park In Sherwood Park

Partially Fenced
25 acres

IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD Barbwire fenced, country setting, 25+ acre parcel. Plenty of trails, hills, short and tall grass, and open fields. Private dog park at your convenience. We do run a Boarding Kennel. There is a chance when parking, that’s there may be dogs in our large yard, behind a fence. We recommend keeping your dog on leash for about 1 or 2 mins of your walk into the off leash area, if you have a reactive dog. We will however try our best to work around our sniff spot guests as well.

Kaleidoscope Dog Park In Battle Lake

Fully Fenced
5 acres

IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD I have 4 pasture spaces but one will be for the dogs and closed to other animals when dogs are booked. However it’s important to note horses may be in the pasture next to the sniff spot. The fence is sheep fencing. Small dogs could sneak through so be watchful. The pasture space is rolling and mostly open with some treed space. Your dog may find all sorts of things here but please leave any bones they find. Feel free to take sticks. Located just west of the Battle Lake Baptist Church (Google map that if lost or see my picture for map) on the curve corner of RR 20 and TWP 462. Just minutes straight west of The Village at Pigeon Lake.

Frequently asked questions about Edmonton dog hiking trails

What types of dog hiking trails are available in Edmonton?

Edmonton has 5 dog hiking trails offers wooded trails, open meadows, and varied natural terrain. Whether you need a fully-fenced space for poor recall, a quiet location for a reactive dog, appropriate sizing for small breeds, gentle terrain for seniors, or specific amenities like water features or agility equipment, you'll find options in Edmonton. Filter by fencing, size, distractions, and amenities to match your needs.

When can I book dog hiking trails in Edmonton?

Edmonton dog hiking trails are available based on host scheduling—many operate dawn to dusk or even 24/7. Unlike public dog parks with rigid hours, you choose the exact time that works for you. Check individual Edmonton listings for specific availability. Flexible scheduling is especially helpful for dogs with specific needs: reactive dogs who do better during quieter times, working dog owners needing early/late slots, or seniors needing cooler morning hours.

How do I book a dog hiking trail in Edmonton?

Browse 5 available dog hiking trails in Edmonton, select your preferred date and time, and reserve through Sniffspot. Most Edmonton locations offer instant booking. You'll receive confirmation, exact address, and entry instructions. The booking process takes just minutes—perfect when your dog needs exercise, whether that's a reactive dog requiring safe space, a puppy needing socialization, or an energetic dog burning off steam.

What's the most popular dog hiking trail in Edmonton?

Better Than Home 25 Acre Partially Fenced Private Dog Park In Sherwood Park is highly rated among Edmonton dog hiking trails, known for excellent amenities and positive reviews. However, the "best" spot depends on your dog's needs—reactive dogs might prioritize privacy and quiet, puppies might need secure fencing, seniors might want flat terrain, while active dogs might want maximum running space. Browse Edmonton listings to find your ideal match.

Can I use Edmonton dog hiking trails for training sessions?

Yes! Edmonton dog hiking trails are perfect for training because they're private and distraction-free. Work on recall, practice trail recall in natural environments, leash manners on varied terrain, or hiking endurance building, help reactive dogs build confidence, socialize puppies, or work on obedience—all without public dog park unpredictability. Many Edmonton professional trainers use these spaces for client sessions with all types of dogs.

Do Edmonton dog hiking trails accommodate multiple dogs?

Most Edmonton dog hiking trails welcome multiple dogs from the same household. Some hosts set limits (check listings for specifics). If you have several dogs—especially if some are reactive toward strange dogs or if you have mixed ages (puppies and seniors)—private dog hiking trails let them play together safely without outside interference or triggers.

What amenities do Edmonton dog hiking trails offer?

Edmonton dog hiking trails feature amenities like marked trail paths through natural terrain, open meadow areas for off-leash play, and shaded rest spots along the route. Many hosts provide extras: poop bags, water stations, toys, shaded seating, parking, even dog wash stations. Each Edmonton listing clearly shows what's available. Look for amenities matching your dog's needs: shade for heat-sensitive breeds, water for swimmers, agility for active dogs, or privacy features for anxious pets.

Are Edmonton dog hiking trails available year-round?

Many Edmonton hosts maintain their dog hiking trails throughout all seasons. Filter for covered or climate-controlled options if weather matters. Indoor dog hiking trails provide year-round access regardless of Edmonton weather conditions. Check individual listings for seasonal availability and policies.
