I really enjoyed our time there. The only words of caution I will say is you can hear and see dogs in the kennel if they are boarding so if your dog is dog aggressive I would not recommend this spot. It is better for all fur baby’s not to stress one another out. Also on the right side in the back there is one area where the wood fence turns to the chicken wire fence and the neighbors labs were outside. They were friendly however the fence holes were to large my dog shoved her whole head through it to say hi to the other dog lol so again if your dog is dog aggressive not a good place because a fight could easily happen. The only other consideration I would have which the host did explain and was wonderful about is there are some openings under then fence that a small dog can get through. All in all it was perfect for my needs. Somewhere I could take my baby and be sure no small dogs were around and she could run free. She is horrible with recall. So we spent 30 minutes training on her recall in a safe and secure environment. I 100 percent plan on visiting this place much more often it’s only a 30 minute drive from my house and totally worth it! Thank you for reading my review and thank you for being a good host! They had a clean bucket of water ready if the dogs were thirsty and an easily accessible trash area to discard poop bags. Thank you so much for offering your land temporarily for our dogs to enjoy. The area has a slight slope with quite a few gopher holes that provoked a lot of enjoyable sniffing. LOL. There is plenty of shade and a nice bench for the humans. It was great to be able to take my dogs to a secure place and let them off leash. S we since I learned how reactive my golden is, I don’t feel comfortable at dog parks. It was after dark and honestly had plenty of light. I still had lights on my dogs. There was consistent barking from the dogs there being kenneled & my pups didn’t mind. Excited to go during the day to see the whole space.

Are fully fenced dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than public dog parks. Human and animal safety is our #1 focus. Without a private option, many dog owners are relegated to using athletic fields or tennis courts for their dogs, which are not private or safe. How do I know if a fully fenced dog park works for my dog?

What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot fully fenced dog park?
We require that all dogs have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not permit use by pregnant dogs and we do not permit dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules, such as staying within the designated off-leash areas. Each park location also has their own set of rules that guests need to follow, such as limiting excessive barking.
Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot fully fenced dog park at the same time as me?
Sniffspot only allows one booking at a time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the spot during visits. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between bookings.
