Jackie's 6.5 Acre Unfenced Private Dog Park In Jackson

Unfenced
6.5 acres

Our home is a small hobby farm with an orchard, horses, cats, turkeys, and chickens. We regularly see deer, hawks, cardinals, blue jays, monarchs, raccoons, and the occasional fox or coyote. Our chickens keep the place tick free without using any chemicals. Our orchard is 100% organic and we don’t treat the grass either. We have walking trails and open spaces to let a dog run free, but your dog must have a programmable gps or have great recall, as we don’t want your dog chasing our birds or horses.

Bull Valley Sniff-Spot

Unfenced
16 acres

FYI: A controlled burn was recently conducted in the back field because that area is state-owned. Our property remains open, including the full 16 acres available for your visit. Please just be mindful of the areas that do not belong to us. Come let your dog explore, play, and swim on our beautiful family farm. Our farm means the world to us, and we think you and your pup will love it too. Located on 16 acres in Bull Valley, Illinois, our property is doggy heaven for dogs that are trained to be off-leash. Take a walk, bring a frisbee or ball, or simply let your dog sniff and explore. Please note that our property is not fenced. It connects to a beautiful piece of state-owned land, but that land is not included in your rental. Your booking covers only our 16-acre property. If you choose to go beyond our property lines, please understand that we are not responsible for the state-owned land, as it is not part of our Sniffspot. We also have many farm animals on the property, so we ask that all guests be respectful of our land and animals. We take great pride in our farm and love sharing it, and we want to keep it beautiful for everyone. Entry into any barns or buildings is prohibited. Please remain in the back of the property, as we do live on-site and appreciate our privacy. This is a working farm, so you may occasionally see cars or people near the barns and lot as you arrive. If your dog is reactive, please keep them on a leash until you reach the back field. Also, please remember that this is a farm, not a park. The ground may be uneven in places, and there may be holes or other natural hazards caused by animals or farm activity. Please use caution, as we are not responsible for injuries related to the terrain.

Franklin dog hiking trails feature amenities designed for natural exploration and varied terrain: wooded trails, open meadows, and varied natural terrain, secure fencing options, water stations, waste disposal, and often extras like toys, shade structures, or parking. Unlike public parks with generic setups, Franklin hosts customize their spaces. Browse 17 listings to compare—from bare essentials to luxury amenities perfect for your dog's needs.

How much does it cost to use Franklin dog hiking trails?

Members get discounted rates at participating Franklin spots, and new users can start with a 7-day free trial. There are no surprise booking fee. Your credits cover the reservation. Browse Franklin dog hiking trails listings to see individual spot pricing, and check your membership dashboard to see how many credits you have available.

How clean are private dog hiking trails in Franklin compared to public parks?

Significantly cleaner. Public dog parks in Franklin see dozens of dogs daily with sporadic city maintenance. Private dog hiking trails have dedicated hosts who maintain their own spaces—cleanliness directly affects their reviews and bookings. Many Franklin hosts provide fresh poop bags, sanitized water stations, and regular grounds cleaning. With only one booking at a time, waste accumulation is minimal.

Can I book Franklin dog hiking trails on short notice?

Usually yes! Many Franklin dog hiking trails offer same-day or next-day availability with instant booking. Unlike public parks that might be crowded unpredictably, Franklin private dog hiking trails let you reserve exactly when needed: early morning before work, midday breaks, evening exercise. Real-time availability shows on each listing—perfect for last-minute training or when routines get disrupted.

What's the best time to visit dog hiking trails in Franklin?

Any time works since bookings are private! Unlike public dog parks in Franklin that are crowded during peak hours (mornings, evenings, weekends), you don't worry about timing. Book when it fits YOUR schedule—midday when it's quiet, dawn for cool weather, late evening for convenience. Many Franklin dog hiking trails have lighting for after-dark visits. This flexibility is perfect for shift workers or dogs with special needs.

Do Franklin dog hiking trails allow multiple dogs?

Yes! Most Franklin dog hiking trails welcome multiple dogs from the same household. Some hosts set limits (check listings), but generally you can bring your whole pack. This is perfect for multi-dog households in Franklin where some dogs are selective—they can play together privately without outside interference. Great for sibling bonding or families with mixed ages/temperaments.

Can I use Franklin dog hiking trails for special events?

Many Franklin dog hiking trails welcome doggy birthday parties, training workshops, breed meetups, or group playdates. Private bookings mean your event won't be interrupted. Coordinate with Franklin hosts about capacity, amenities (parking, shade, water), and any restrictions. Some even provide party extras. Check individual Franklin dog hiking trail listings for event policies.

How do Franklin dog hiking trails accommodate dogs with special needs?

Franklin dog hiking trails are excellent for special needs dogs because you can filter for specific requirements: flat terrain for mobility issues, secure fencing for blind/deaf dogs, quiet locations for anxious dogs, small spaces for seniors, or maximum privacy for reactive dogs. Read reviews from other Franklin special-needs dog owners, and contact hosts with questions. The private setting means you can adapt the experience to your dog's unique requirements.
