Amy's 3+ Acre Fully Fenced Private Dog Park In Muskego

Great property to walk with large and small dogs. The entire back lot is fully fenced and plenty of running space for frisbee or ball. Disposable water bowls can be found in our welcome bin. A hose will be available in summer and a water jug in winter. A small patch of uncut brush in the back is great for jumping sniffing and tracking the high branches are cleared for humans to also walk through:) located near wetlands some of the fencing extends through overgrowth or wetland and brush/scrub tree areas it can be damp in wet weather times. The ENTIRE BACK lot is fully secure, originally built to contain our dachshunds and our late Great Dane. Because we own several small dogs (and also a large dog) ourselves it is checked regularly for any holes, or wear. (If you see any holes please let us know ASAP) Our dogs will be kenneled when you visit! Extra notes: *We live near a gun range and during hunting seasons and summer primarily range noise can be heard in the distance. Weekdays are quieter in general for all noises :) * Please note in spring/ fall thaw and heavy rain parts of our yard so stay soggy and even wet for some time -appropriate footwear should be considered (rubber boots are ideal)-we have towels for dogs in our welcome bin. Canine Respiratory Illness! Here’s what we are doing! -disposable one-visit bowls are to be found in our bin, please use them for your dogs and then dispose of them before you go or take them home. -we will continue to disinfect the toys provided at least once a day with our dog-safe disinfectant Effer-San. -We ask that you place used toys in the used toy bin after use. - in the summer the patio and grass near the house will be sprayed with our dog-safe disinfectant Wishy-Wash once a day. -We do this for our dogs as well as for yours

This place was a great space for playing with my shepherd mix. She ran around and got all her sniffs in and then we played with her toys for the whole time. The yard is clean and spacious. My dog is reactive and it was a very quiet and private space. There were only a few cars that were seen but she didn't mind since we were having so much fun. Can't wait to go back for more fun.

Amy has a beautiful property. The visit was very relaxing for me because I didn't have to worry about my crazy dog Luna running in to another dog. Luna spent most of her time trying to find a hole in the fence and much to her dismay, there wasn't one. She was safely contained for the duration. Thanks for sharing, Amy!

Absolutely love this park. It is the perfect place to let you dogs run without worry. The fencing is in perfect shape around the entire property. The host has great little amenities like water, treats, cleaning supplies in case your pup gets dirty and even has toys that they clean between uses. I highly recommend this private park! Such a beautiful space for pups to run and play! Amy provides so many things to make your visit easy and fun 😊 The only thing I would mention is that gunfire can be heard from the gun range in the area, so if you have dogs that are fearful of gunfire it may be a problem. One of my dogs is afraid of loud noises like that so when the noise from the range picked up, he sat up near the house and wouldn’t play anymore 🥺 That being said, he obviously felt comfortable being on the patio, which is better than he’s been in the past when he heard gunfire. Overall, it is a great space, absolutely worth visiting! If you have a dog that is fearful of noises like gunfire, maybe go at times when there are less likely to be a lot of people at the range.

Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
