Welcome to our Sniffspot! My name is Julie and I am a homeschool mother of 3, who loves to garden and spend time outside! Most of all, we adore animals! We would love to share our yard with you and your fur-babies! We have fruit trees and berry bushes you are welcome to pick from! We get a ton of apples in the fall, so help yourself! Also, help yourself to snacks and drinks that I will provide prior to your arrival! We have playground equipment and games if you have any littles, and dog toys as well! Please know that I do garden, so please mind my vegetable garden if I have it planted during your visit. I will have it blocked off with small garden fencing. We do have a stray cat that hangs out here, please be mindful of her. She is very loved, but she will leave the yard once she sees your dog, she is harmless.

We are currently overwhelmed with debris from the hurricane and recent storms. Most of the debris has to be temporarily staged in the area that is a portion of the SniffSpot area. If you would like to bring your pup to roam and play in the creek on a hot day, please message me first and I will check the clean-up schedule. Please understand we welcome you but the grassy field is not currently up to our standards. This beautiful open space is beside a bubbling creek wtih both sun and shade options. Across the property you will find digging spots (please fill all hoes) mud, grassy areas and plenty of space to explore. There is a water hose to rinse your dog and limited seating at this time. Please check back often as we are in the process of improving the space with future additional seating, an agility course, wash station and more.

This Sniffspot is a fully fenced property (our home is inside the fence) with hills, bumpy terrain, sticks galore, piles of limbs, well dug holes by our lovely golden and pyrenees, and tons of open space. Please watch your step. When entering, you can park in the carport, gravel driveway, or even in the grass. You can use the grass to turn around in as well. You will close the gate right at the road during your entire stay. You can leave the gate open as you leave for our next visitor. We will not be visible during your visit and you will be the only occupants at your scheduled time. We are located outside the city limits and it is not uncommon to hear people target shooting or hunting. Just keep this in mind because that is out of our control. Trash & Amenities: The trash can and other amenities are inside the carport and at the picnic table in the back near the bamboo forest. Dog Library: We have a new dog library in the back near the bamboo that we will stock with toys, sticks, bags, and goodies. Seating: We have a table and four chairs in the bamboo/shaded area in the very back if you would like to have a picnic off the ground. In addition, we have a bench inside the carport. There are two fold up chairs in the carport if you would like to use them anywhere on the property. Fence: The fence is 3 to 4 feet on three sides and five feet on the road side. The front fence is wood slats/split rail with wire. There are some sections that have a fence behind a fence (even some you cannot see that are the neighbors). On other sides we have wire and chain link. Our Great Pyrenees and Golden Retriever have never escaped or tried to jump it and that is a win for a Pyrenees! Wildlife: You may see turtles, snakes, rabbits, deer, ground hogs and squirrels. Grounds: The property around the home has never been graded so it is hilly and lumpy so be careful where you step. You can see holes dug in the yard from dogs. It is fine if they dig. We also had pipes going to a garden years ago so if you see them, don't worry! They are half buried and half exposed. Water: You have access to our well and water bowls. We also have a kiddie pool if you would like to use it. Wifi: We have wifi and outdoor outlets in the carport. **The pool is closed for the season.** Welcome! We have a fun property your dogs will love! We have a 2 acre property, which includes approximately a half acre fenced area, a 1 acre unfenced area, and a separately fenced inground pool area. Only dogs are allowed in the swimming pool (unless you're actively helping or playing with them). Two creeks outline our property and dogs are welcome anywhere on the property. We tend to keep the grass in the back of the property a bit longer to support the bees, but it also makes for lots more sniffing for the pups! If you're using the unfenced portion of the yard, dogs must be on leash. We have dogs of our own, but we will keep them secure in the house when you're using the property so you'll have the whole yard and pool to yourself.
