Krystal's 11 Acre Unfenced Private Dog Park In Mapleville

Unfenced
11 acres

Looking for the perfect escape with your furry companion? Our 11-acre property offers the ideal setting for you and your dogs to explore, unwind, and enjoy the great outdoors. Surrounded by scenic views and wide-open spaces, it’s a natural haven for adventurous pups and their humans alike. Winding trails weave through the land, providing plenty of room to roam. Most guests spend about an hour here—walking the 20–30 minute trail loops and then relaxing by the water or letting their dogs play. It’s a great way to enjoy fresh air, peaceful nature, and some quality time with your four-legged friend. We’re always working to enhance the experience, and we plan to add even more trail options this summer—so there will be more to discover on your next visit! A few quick notes: the trails can get muddy during rainy or winter months, so we recommend wearing boots. The pond is not maintained, and guests who choose to enter the water do so at their own risk. We’re also continuing to mark property lines and add signage to help everyone feel comfortable and informed during their visit.

Are Gales Ferry dog hiking trails good for all dog types?

Will I encounter other dogs at Gales Ferry dog hiking trails?

Not a chance. Gales Ferry dog hiking trails operate on a strict one-booking-at-a-time system, so the space is entirely yours during your reserved slot. Host dogs are kept away, and there's a mandatory 30-minute buffer between bookings—meaning you won't cross paths with the previous or next guest. For Gales Ferry owners with reactive dogs, puppies, or any dog needing privacy, this makes all the difference in providing safe, stress-free exercise.

Are Gales Ferry dog hiking trails safe for fearful or anxious dogs?

Yes! Gales Ferry dog hiking trails provide controlled, predictable environments without the chaos of public dog parks. Since bookings are completely private with 30-minute buffers, anxious dogs can explore a natural outdoor path where dogs can explore varied terrain off-leash in a safe, private environment without overwhelming encounters. Many Gales Ferry dog owners specifically choose dog hiking trails for fearful dogs who need gentle, stress-free exercise environments.

Just ensure your puppy has age-appropriate vaccinations before visiting.

How do I choose the best dog hiking trail in Gales Ferry?

Start by filtering Gales Ferry's 15 dog hiking trails for your specific needs: secure fencing for escape artists, "fewer dogs seen/heard" for reactive dogs, flat terrain for seniors, appropriate sizing for small dogs, or specific amenities for training. Look for "Top Spots" like Gales Ferry's Krystal's 11 Acre Unfenced Private Dog Park In Mapleville with excellent reviews.Read feedback from other Gales Ferry owners with similar dog types to find your perfect match.

What are Gales Ferry's dog hiking trail requirements?

All dogs must have basic vaccinations or titers. Each Gales Ferry host may have additional rules on their listing. Most dog hiking trails welcome all breeds, sizes, and temperament levels, including reactive dogs who can't safely visit public dog parks. Adult supervision is required at all times.
