Running around on the huge deck is also popular! Note: The large deck has bird feeders containing safflower and sunflower seed. They are mostly out of reach, but safe for dogs just in case. Be mindful your dogs don’t eat or ruin the raised garden beds surrounding patio! Newly planted apple trees are in the back of the yard but are protected by small fences. Neighbors have dogs that will visit at the fence! But they are willing to keep them inside if your dog(s) get upset. Entry: you can park anywhere in the back of the driveway near the fence gate. The fence gate has a carabiner on the inside that ensures the gate stays latched. You can easily reach your hand through to remove. Gate is very heavy but will open easily about 2 feet for entry without having to lift the gate to get it wider. Please replace carabiner when leaving.

This very private area has a natural dip from the main road that protects puppers from wandering into unknown territory. Two fields of 4 acres each are available for the sniff spot; one field has 7 baby apple trees and the other has a very large, flat area for the dogs to run. Feel free to park in the main house driveway and walk your dogs across the street to enjoy our little haven from city life. You should have both flea and tick medications up-to-date since deer and groundhogs often walk through the fields in the early morning and evening.
