Country Serenity Private Dog Park In Woodland

Country Serenity is a 1/2 acre fully fenced non-irrigated pasture which is on our 20 acre farm. The spot is partially covered with medium bark to keep down the weeds and native grass. Given our rural location, foxtails, stickers and other nuisance weeds do exist, especially along the fence lines, as we do not use herbicides. Please come prepared for these conditions and gauge your risk tolerance for your pet. Risks may include foxtails, stickers, ticks, mosquitos, gnats, flies, uneven ground, mud. Hours of operation are generally 7:30 am-7:30 pm, but no lighting is provided so hours fluctuate with the dawn and dusk. Adjacent to the dog park is a barn with 2 friendly dwarf goats and some chickens. Enjoy the views of our olive orchard, a seasonal pond and 360 degree panorama of beautiful farmland right from the park. Please be aware that this is a working farm in an agricultural area so you may see and hear farm equipment and crop dusters in the vicinity. Let us know if you want to visit our farm store before or after your visit. We have our Gold Medal winning Frate Sole Olive oil and Copper Hill balsamic vinegar, local Woodland farmers like us. Welcome to “Pep’s place”, Santa Rosa’s premier Sniffspot location. Located in the heart of Santa Rosa “Peps place” offers more than 1.25 acres of fully fenced dog Paradise. Dedicated to our late great German Shepherd Pepper, this was her favorite spot to chase a ball. You will receive the code after booking. Drive in and park anywhere on the gravel road. ***8-20-25 update.*** The well has been fixed and you no longer have to wait for water now that we have a pressure tank, as soon as you turn on the faucet there will be water coming out

Wide Open Space

There's only one spot with irrigation so it gets dry, crackling, and some parts down to dirt in the summer. We do have an area that is grass for the dogs to roll around in. In the winter there can be a stream of water going through the middle of the pasture after rain. We have a Big water dish for dogs. Small pool for dogs to play in (we fill the pool every day, but can get the extra to have it freshly filled for your pup) Have toys and treats for the pups. Have friends with dogs?! Bring them all and come make a day of it! Feel free to bring a bbq, stereo, or games. Plenty of room for both the pups and the people to hang out and have a good time! We now have a porta potty for guests!! There are sheep in adjacent pasture certain times of the year but there is a 50+ foot buffer zone fenced off to keep sheep away from the fence.

Sniff and Splash

We offer a fully fenced space for your dog to run, play, or swim. Towel, toys and water are available. The doggie parents can enjoy a putting green while the dogs play. Feel free to join your dog for a swim on these hot days.

We have a small farm on the west side of Petaluma. We offer a large, fully fenced, paddock at the front of our property for Sniffspot. We often have other dogs on the property as we run a dog daycare/boarding business but we will secure all other animals in another paddock at the back of our property when we have visitors. It is possible that other dogs will be visible for short periods of time during the visit. Our main gate code is on the keypad when you pull up. Please park to the left near the blue Toyota pickup when you drive in (there is a sign). The best gate to enter the SniffSpot is towards the main gate entrance (near the wood fence).

Fully fenced 150’ x 50’ private lot (just over 7,500 sq ft) shaded by mature oak trees — the perfect natural playground for dogs of all sizes and energy levels. While the space is fully enclosed with chain-link fencing, it’s not fully private — your pup might spot Saint, our sweet and calm neighbor dog, who often sits quietly or gently engages through the fence. Most visiting dogs love his company, and some just ignore him while they explore.

Poolside Lounge & Play for Pups & Their People

Lounge beside the pool while your pups play and sniff to their heart's content. Read your book in the egg swing or drink your beverage stretched out on a chase lounge. You and your pups are all welcome to use the pool but be forewarned, it is not heated and very chilly until August. Some dogs can't resist a pool. Please encourage them to do so with your careful supervision. Call dogs out of the pool at any sign of cold or distress, including shivering, coughing, or submerging. There is no bathroom available for humans. Dogs can use the yard, of course. Please clean up after them with bags provided, and dispose of all waste in the gray tote outside the gate. Bring towels, a chucker, your picnic lunch, and have fun!

Please keep dogs on leash until inside of wooden fenced area with gate latched and leash them before exiting fenced area because we have free range chickens on the outside of the fence. Chickens will not approach you or your dog and will likely not even be visible during your visit but we wouldn’t want them to be chased. You may spot chickens, horses, or cows from afar (neighbors) but rest assured the actual Sniffspot has a solid wood fence that allows for privacy and a visual barrier for your dog to enjoy some peaceful playtime.
