Our Sniffspot, located within our pet retail and dog wash center, is designed with your dog’s needs in mind. What We Offer: • A safe, welcoming space for all dogs, including those with severe behavioral issues. Reactive dogs can enter through the back to ensure a comfortable experience. • Attentive staff ready to provide the space and respect your dog needs. • A rotating selection of engaging play items, including a ball pit (transitioning to a digging pit), tree and train setups for brain games, treat dispensers, and an electric treat roller for endless fun. • An intriguing scent wall featuring deer tail, rabbit fur, pheasant fur, horse hair, and cat fur to stimulate your dog’s natural instincts (items subject to change based on availability). Plus, for those looking to refine their pup’s manners around felines, our resident cat is dog-friendly and an excellent distraction trainer! *Note: due to the recent canine RSV breakout, we are allowing only 1-2 guests per day spread out so we have time to sanitize all dog bowls, balls, and toys in between visits to keep your pups safe and healthy! Also, in the winter, we may close our spot periodically during/after rainy days due to excessive mud/flooding. It usually needs a day or two to dry out. Enjoy big skies and big space in our fully fenced yard close to Curtis Park/Sac City College and only a couple of miles away from Midtown and Downtown Sacramento. We’ve got dog toys, chuck-its, dog treats, agility equipment, a pup pool + pup splash pad (both are an extra fee), poop bags, and lots of smells for your furry friends. For the humans, we've got two nice patio spaces, a table and chairs, beverages, snacks, bug spray, hand sanitizer, and sunscreen. We even have a frisbee golf basket and some discs for you to use! Enjoy the outdoor string lights in the evening, a cozy sectional couch, rocking chairs, and we offer the fire pit and patio water misters for an additional fee. We'd like to make your time in our yard as comfortable as possible! Please no smoking or vaping on our property at any time. We have made our property as safe and clean as possible but this area was mainly farmland back in the day so there is uneven ground and occasional wet and muddy grass after a hard rain so please use our property at your own risk. We do offer towels for wet and muddy paws. Lastly, please be respectful of our neighbor’s space next door and don’t hang out by the gate. We also ask that you clean up after yourself and your dog and leave our yard as it was when you entered. We really appreciate that as we may not be able to get outside to clean up in between guests when timing is tight. Our spot also offers Memberships! This spot is the backyard of our house. We live in Westlake, a quiet community in North Natomas. It is fully fenced with a lot of space to explore for your dog.

I have a huge backyard for your fur baby to run around and be free. Fence is fully secured all the way around and has a lock and latch upon entrance. Come check it out to see in person and if my yard would be the perfect fit for your pet!

Plenty of room to play and relax! *Unfortunately, we will be taking a break for the unseeable future due to the potentially fatal respiratory virus that is spreading amongst dogs right now. Sharing spaces and water bowls is one way it is spreading, so we encourage you all to keep your doggies safe at this time and be cautious about where you take them.

An incredible yard for your dog to run and play. Plenty of dog toys are provided and we encourage you to let your dog run free! There is plenty of space to run wild and allow your dog to socialize if you bring more than 1. The yard has a small deck for owners to sit and relax while your dog runs free. If you prefer to be on the lawn, you are welcome to grab a chair and sit on the lawn under the trees. Hammock can be used and we encourage dogs to please use the designated 💩 area for their needs.

Huge Backyard with lots of space to run and sniff! We have a basketball court and lots of grass. The yard wraps all the way around like an upside down U!

Large fenced yard with wood chip mulch and many plants in the backyard, and prairie meadow restoration in front yard. Small dogs on both sides at neighbors. Plenty of chairs and places to sit, two umbrellas for shade and shade sails, two picnic tables with chairs, and a hammock for human use. Beautiful string lights for use at night light up yard very nicely, framing a fire pit. Landscaping and raised garden beds throughout back yard. Pooper scooper available for use. Small local residency backyard perfect for sitting under the covered patio to let dogs run and sniff around. There is no dogs in the surrounding three neighbors so your dog can avoid barking matching on the fence line. The area is ideal for dog walking as well and not far from a popular park in South Sacramento. Most ideal for small/ medium dogs. Feel free to bring toys or during hot summer play with the hose. It perfect for friends to come over and bring dogs for play and meet. Provided pooper scooper for dog poop and waste disposal. Located in downtown Sacramento, this area is a nice place for some canine play/exercise. Right down the street from Urban Roots, and with plenty of free street parking, it’s a great and convenient option for downtown/midtown residents.

My backyard is just right ! Not small it’s perfect for a few large dogs to run around and play and perfect for the smaller breeds as well ! My fruit trees attract lots of blue jay birds :)

Amazing lawn- great for sniffing & playing fetch - & then there is a large private pond for puppy swimming & stretching those canine legs! The entire pond is surrounded by winding concrete paths for stretching your legs too! Both sun & shaded areas- lots of interesting wildlife can be seen. Nice place to play with your fur-baby. Wide open pasture, fully fenced in. There's no irrigation so it gets dry, crackling, and some parts down to dirt in the summer. In the winter there can be a stream of water going through the middle of the pasture after rain. We have a Big water dish for dogs. Small pool for dogs to play in. Have toys and treats for the pups. Have friends with dogs?! Bring them all and come make a day of it! Feel free to bring a bbq, stereo, or games. Plenty of room for both the pups and the people to hang out and have a good time! There are sheep in adjacent pasture Monday, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays for any reactive dogs. If you would like the sheep moved please message us 12 hours before booking and we will gladly have them moved for you.

Fully fenced 1/2 acre yard with lots of maintained grass, tress and bushes; including a swimming pool. Additional 3 acres, non-fenced with pond and area to run free. Plenty of parking.

Country Serenity is a 1/2 acre fully fenced non-irrigated pasture which is on our 20 acre farm. Note: Current conditions are dry with some long grass and foxtails along the fences/edges. We mow regualrly but until summer, foxtails are inevitable given the open setting. Please come prepared for these conditions. Hours of operation are generally 7:30 am-7:30 pm, but no lighting is provided so hours fluctuate with the dawn and dusk. Adjacent to the dog park is a barn with 2 friendly dwarf goats and some chickens. Enjoy the views of our olive orchard, a seasonal pond and 360 degree panorama of beautiful farmland right from the park. Please be aware that this is a working farm in an agricultural area so you may see and hear farm equipment and crop dusters in the vicinity. Let us know if you want to visit our farm store before or after your visit. We have our Gold Medal winning Frate Sole Olive oil and Copper Hill balsamic vinegar, local Woodland farmers like us. This is an oasis for anyone that loves the peaceful views and gorgeous 6 acres of exploration and variety.

*** This is a country retreat with vast land and multiple areas to explore, please check out our Sniffspot for a nature adventure if your doggy has a good recall only*** It's a 10-acre property with a vineyard, free-range chicken will be visible upon entering. Big open space slightly downhill on the left side of the vineyard. The middle part of the property is a small kid's playground that opens up to the pond where ducks and wild geese hang then it opens up to another open field terrain on the right and a small wooded area on the left which is still open and connected to the pond. This is the property line which is a WATERLINE (no fencing along waterlines) Once grape season starts which is typically the end of August-October, wild turkeys and deers may be visible because they love partaking from our future harvest but would be okay if your dog shoo them away :) Around harvest time may see more people than usual, intermittently due to harvest but sniffspot is way far down the road, so no worries about space! Summertime gets dry but we mow the land and the vineyard is in full bloom! Winter is a dormant period, rare to see people only a couple in the the middle of vineyard trimming around January until Spring time. It would be best if your dog is trained to do recall. If you are unsure about our property and still have questions and concerns, you are more than welcome to do an ocular inspection and if it does not fit your dog's needs and capabilities, we'll be more than willing to refund you, just send us a message. Please note the cover photo is from this fall the other ones are current due to water restrictions we can only water certain times which is why the grass may not look as green. We have a kiddie pool sand pit with ball pit balls and your dog can dig here wherever there is dirt.We also have balls for you to throw as well as a station to wash your dog off at.
