Three hanging bungee toys, a small dig area, playhouse, 2 seating areas, one shaded and one full sun, table with 4 chairs, hammock, dogs toys and fresh water and waste bags provided.

Buster's Barn & Field

Buster was a 16 year-old dog who passed away while running in his sleep on July 25, 2025. He enjoyed his field with family dogs his entire life. He was the last one as I am at an age now where I probably won't be getting another dog; so, I want others to enjoy the land. After the first freeze, I drain the interior pipes and hot water heater to the wash stall inside the barn, there is however a 12-month frost free outdoor fountain on the back side of the barn by the woods with a water trough and plenty of electric outlets. I mowed a trail around the perimeter that is about .4 miles for a walk / run around the inside of the perimeter of the five acre field (.2 miles if you cut through the middle to avoid the little hill on the side next to the houses on the road). Becca's Spot in Syracuse for your dogs to frolic and bask in the sun

This is a large area for dogs to run around and hang out in. There’s a lot of sun and a lot of little areas to find shade in. I did take a lot of pictures to show the gaps in the fence (between the fence and the ground ) since the ground is a little uneven. There are areas along the fence where the ground comes up a bit higher and the grass is longer. However if your dog is an escape artist and is small enough AND is small (weights less than 5-6 pounds, we’re talking tea cup size) then there’ll definitely be a way to get out. I’ve provided a birdseye view of the property and shots of the different areas of the yard. This is a multi family house so there are different people living here (at this time it’s 4 different families) and one of them has access to the backyard since that’s how they enter and exit their part of the house (the house is made up of apartments and rooms for rent). No one ever uses the backyard so have at it! I would prefer to rent it out while I’m home to ensure there’ll be easy access to the property and to promptly clean up afterwards if need be. I’m working on getting some extras (kiddie pool for those hot summer days) and toys but for now it’s just a space for frolicking. Please note: there are people who walk outside on the side walks throughout the day. Every day. So hopefully your dog isn’t scared of people, but these people generally go about their day and are probably walking to or from work, to a friends house, to the store, etc.

Fenced in dog yard, plenty of room for ball and frisbee throwing. Please ensure dogs don't jump in or dig in garden beds. If pool is empty, turn on/off well next to front steps to deck and use hose (to fill or spray your dog). Dig spot is behind the little barn (ok to uncover space from landscape fabric). If there are ripe tomatoes, feel free to pick a couple as a snack.
