Welcome to our English countryside-esque dog walking area! Located near the amazing Catskills, in the Poconos. We are located 11 min from beautiful Calicoon NY, 14 min from Honesdale PA, 28 min from Narrowsburg NY, and many more wonderful vacation, recreation and restaurant spots along the Delaware river! We have nearly 8 acres of rewilded pasture with dog walking paths throughout that connect through miniature woodland paths (keep your eyes peeled during the summer months, we have raspberries, black raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, mint, and cattails on the paths to munch, and apples in fall, from over 100 year old heritage varieties! We just ask that you do not pick from the new baby orchard trees, they are individually fenced and easy to see). As well as natures treats throughout, we have a miniature maze in progress for little dogs & kids, a dip-able creek for dogs & humans, and a nice size pond that is swim friendly for dogs only (step in only friendly recommended for humans). These are the paths we walk our three dogs on, and we can attest to their love and enjoyment! There is a picnic table, electrical outlet and chairs by the pond, and sitting rocks by the creek near the bridge on most days the rewilding isn’t too wild. This is not fully fenced, but dogs that can be walked off leash are welcome to run. We are surrounded by a hill and guardrail on the road side, a creek on the back side with a neighboring property beyond that, and a hedge/manmade stream on the other, so it is good for trained dogs to leap around free in! Small dogs are welcome in our small fenced in area if needed to run around off leash and are not comfortable in the field off leash (just pick up after them especially in the garden). This is a rural area, but we rarely have wildlife sightings during the day due to our location on a main road, and our 3 dogs. Mostly bald eagles in spring. I’ve never heard of any issues because we have plenty of natural food sources for the eagles, but be cautious if you have a miniature breed loose in the field. Two of our 3 dogs are very well behaved nearly 10 year old lab collie mixes who love playing and run off leash. So if you want some play time for your pup, they would love to join! Our younger dog unfortunately is a stubborn Anatolian Shepherd who if loose would go looking for neighborhood chickens in lieu of playing, so she will wait her turn for after your visit no matter the request. This is a small starter orchard of heritage fruit, and our family home with children, so someone dog or human will be home most days. Please let us know if you would like to use the fenced in garden/yard area completely free of human activity, as well as the standard dog-free. We want to make sure your dogs time here suits their needs. For anyone with non-social dogs especially, we are happy to book when we are not home for your peace of mind, just let us know! We are always dog free from sight (but not always sound in the garden/yard area, but we do try.) Playtime with our dogs can be requested to wear out your pup (this can be provided human free as well, our dogs are call friendly even with strangers). We have several well cleared & well kept trails to hike on , a campsite with fire pit and a large dog pen available if your pooch needs a time out .... We encourage all dogs to start out on lead until comfortable with the terrain and area as wildlife likes to visit our woods! All dogs should be off leash trained to come on command before allowing them to run free... In the summer we have a small pool for your fur a y to cool off in, dog toys are always available, and water is kept at campsite for your pet to rehydrate ....we also offer poop bags and have a trash can available to dispose your doggies doodoo in properly....towels ate available in vase your pup tolls in mud or anything mud like!

We have 11 acres your dog could run on that is secluded and private. There is a 2/3 mile loop trail that goes around a pine forest. There is a cool and shaded pine forest with a carpet of pine needles your dog could run in and you can hang out in. Bring your chairs and enjoy the mountain scenery and have a picnic you want. If your dog poops on the trail, pick it up and toss it in the weeds. If your dog poops in the weeds, we don't care. You would need to bring all your own supplies. There is plenty of parking. Our property borders a railroad so you will need to keep your dog off the tracks. If you could send me a message before you book a time about what time you are considering it would be appreciated.
