The 5 acre sniff spot is conveniently located in south Lafayette. Land is an open area perfect for your pup to run around. There is plenty of space for training dogs or fetching. The land is partially fenced. There is access to a water faucet by the main house if needed to get water for your pup. When you enter the driveway you can park on the gravel area to the right or the left side by either house. Please don’t block driveway or any vehicles. After parking you can continue straight back to the land (pasture) and enjoy the large open area!! You can bring a chair if you would like and find some shade to sit and relax. At times grass may be taller if it rains a lot and I can’t cut the grass.

The Moncus Park Dog Park, located at 2913 Johnston St in Lafayette, Louisiana, is a fully fenced enclosure open daily from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. The Giles Small Dog Park within the facility is closed every Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. for cleaning and maintenance. Dogs must wear a Moncus Park Tag, be spayed/neutered, have up-to-date vaccines, and be leashed while entering and exiting. Only three dogs per person are allowed, and puppies under 6 months old are prohibited. Owners must be at least 16 years old, and children under 12 are not allowed.
