I like that the rest is tall grass since my dog is obsessed with running through it. 55We had a wonderful visit at Nick's 5 acre sniff spot. Our coonhound, Hank sniffed and investigated everywhere. He was so happy he was smiling. It was fun to see him running free off leash and being able to just be a dog. The grounds are well kept, with a nicely mowed path for both humans and canines to roam on. Fresh water was provided along with poop bags and a bucket to put the used bags in. There were several small areas to sit and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere that this farm provides. Hank was happily exhausted when we were ready to go home. We recommend this beautiful field to anyone that wants to explore with their dog. The area is completely fenced so we had no worries and enjoyed our time outside. We will definitely be back and we encourage you to give this amazing area a try if you have not been here already.Anne K.

55Nice open field with a bit of a hill. Also has a small copse of trees, and plenty of space to run, sniff, and explore! My dogs had a blast, and the owner had put out a tub with water that was much appreciated by the end.

Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers).
