We do have five dogs, but they would be in the house when you are visiting with your dogs, you may hear them bark, but would not see them, a separate entrance to the field is available. You would enter the backyard on the left side through the gate. I do not keep it locked, but I do put the carabiner through it so Smart dogs cannot lift up the latch. You are welcome to put your poop bags in my trashcan right there by the entrance to the backyard. Sometimes, if the dogs are lucky, they will be able to chase the bunny or squirrel. We tend to keep the grass in the back of the property a bit longer to support the bees, but it also makes for lots more sniffing for the pups!
