55Enjoyed coming here again, was initially a little wary seeing campers right by the entrance, but thankfully it didn’t seem like they had any dogs with them. My dog’s current obsession is ground squirrels, so this place is perfect for her. I did hear a couple of shots fired as well as the train going through, but it didn’t spook my dog. Michelle W.

My dog’s current obsession is ground squirrels, so this place is perfect for her. I did hear a couple of shots fired as well as the train going through, but it didn’t spook my dog.

There’s so much space to roam! The host was very communicative and gave lots of details about the area. There were a few folks here and there getting some work done. 55About a year ago my dog Bear got attacked by multiple dogs at an off leash park. I’ve been scared to go to any off leash parks since then- but I knew that I needed to find a way to safely exercise him off leash. I cannot even put into words how perfect this property is. This is the first time I’ve felt relaxed walking my dogs. It’s a very peaceful feeling knowing that we won’t run into anyone. The property is huge, well maintained, peaceful, and beautiful. Once in the trail, we don’t ever see any other livestock (except far in the distance/across the water there are some cows and a dog that will bark- but they are really far away and my dogs have no interest). The water is a great addition and my dogs love running in and out of it. Some areas do have a foul odor, and if your dog finds those spots, you may need to hit the dog wash after. I wouldn’t recommend letting your dog drink the water in the areas that you can smell the odor as this will likely upset their tummy like it did for mine. But still, best sniff spot in missoula and we will always be back!August P.

55Great spot to roam with the dogs! There are some cows on the adjacent property so we had to leash the dogs during that point since they’re reactive but was a quick section of the trail.
