Welcome to our little piece of heaven. We enjoy our land and our dogs so much we want others to as well, so we opened it to sniff spot. Our area is a total of 17 acres with a creek that runs a quarter of the way throughout the perimeter. This is a large piece of property and is close to a busy road so some dogs so require some sort of long leash or rope for the dogs that do not have a strong recall. A portion of the land is mowed for a shorter terrain for ease of mobility. Trails are available to utilize as well as more are being cut at current time to travel throughout property. Half the property is left natural for a refuge for the wildlife. The natural areas have areas where there is tall grass areas. Thick brush, and uneven ground. Please consider your self and your animal’s physical health when hiking through property. There is a creek on both sides of the driveway and trails on both sides of the driveway as well . Feel free to get down in the creek and look for arrow heads, crawfish or cool shaped creek rocks. Walk the creek or the trails or let them stretch out across the field, play ball or frisbee there is plenty of room to run and stretch you furry baby’s legs. When visiting in spring it is highly recommended to wear bug spray for the flys and ticks as that’s a very heavy season and is recommended. Future accommodations coming : fenced 60x60 area dog play area with obstacles and sitting area, more trails and sitting areas along creek side. We have a decent sized fenced in backyard with a picket fence. There is a shed, trampoline (please do not use), and fire pit in the yard as well. There’s also a non fenced in section that has an inclined that ends at a small creek, gazebo (please do not stand on as it’s old & falling apart & we don’t want anyone to get hurt), & woods. We wouldn’t recommend getting in the creek as it’s fairly gross but to each their own. We do have patio furniture under a shaded area with a fan that you can relax in while your dog plays. There’s a water hose on the back of the house you can use to fill up a water bowl. We do have some dog toys but feel free to bring your own too if you want. We ask that you clean up after your dog with the provided dog poop bags. You can dispose of them in the trash can on site.

Carter’s Private Dog Park allows dogs to explore the trails and creeks in the woods area, walk the 1/2 mile gravel driveway, play in acres of grass fields, and enjoy the obstacles set up for our sister horse obstacle course (Alliance Equine Obstacle Course) where all areas are located on a private, gated entrance (BUT not fully fenced) farm. Guests will need to keep dogs leashed to stay on the farm property and not roam onto neighbors land. Please note horses and cats are also on site. Horse pasture is not accessible to guests. Additional fully fenced wire field (appx 1/2 acre) can be added as an extra where your dog can be off leash. Please pick up after your pet at all times with own bags. Water is available for drinking for dogs from a hose near the parking area or creeks (at times) in the woods. Outdoor Bath with hose (not heated) is an extra if planning to have your dog swim in the pond and wash before leaving. Owners must bring own dog leash, shampoo, towels, water bowls and waste bags for their dog as needed. Price is per dog. Additional dogs with one owner follow Sniffspot’s policy of half price per dog.

Perfect for a relaxing day hanging out with your dog while it swims, bonus is that you can swim around too! No electric hook up near water so no need to worry! Great place for a dock diving dog as well! Recommended for dogs with great recall or to just keep a leash on! Please do not mess with the boat or jet skis we have tied up. *not responsible for any accidents or injuries*
