2 Acre Fully Fenced Private Dog Park In Winston Salem/Kernersville

Welcome to our yard, a playground for K-9s! 🐾 I Give your dog room to run, sniff, explore, and simply be a dog inside our fully fenced, two-acre property. We offer plenty of grassy areas, natural trails, interesting smells, and ample shade, making it a wonderful place for dogs to exercise and explore while their humans relax (chairs available). For our human guests, there’s an outhouse available inside the camper, as well as a shaded front porch at the Tiny House with comfortable seating. A water hydrant is available to wash up, refill the dogs’ water bowl or fill the kiddie pool for pups who enjoy cooling off and splashing around. Please remember to turn the hydrant off immediately after use and empty and turn over the water bowls and pool when you’re finished. Need to stay connected while your dog plays? Wi-Fi is available on the property, along with electrical outlets inside the camper and extension cord outside the camper. Since this is a natural, wooded outdoors area please be mindful to bring bug spray and stay on the trails. We hope you and your K-9 enjoy your private time exploring our campsite! 🐕🌿

Let them sniff every plant. Let them race through the garden rows. And yes—let them dig! We don't mind. Our field is mowed weekly, but this is real country property—not artificial turf or a perfectly manicured lawn. You may find bare spots, dirt, leaves, sticks and, occasionally, a little something another four-legged visitor left behind before we found it. That's okay. Dogs aren't looking for perfection. We share a fence line with our neighbors, who have two small dogs who may occasionally come out to say hello or run the fence. Start your visit there—you'll find what you need for your adventure, including special treats for your pup. Outside is an 8-foot covered porch with a fan, and inside you'll find a comfortable heated and air-conditioned room with a refrigerator and microwave. We take care of the dogs, but we haven't forgotten their people. Cold drinks, snacks and frozen treats are available for purchase in the She Shed refrigerator and freezer. Grab something cold—or make yourself comfortable with a hot drink—and enjoy your time away from everything. 🔒 Completely Private Means Private. One thing you won't find at Sweetwater Court is a camera watching you. We have no cameras in our private playground. Your privacy matters to us. Captain's Retreat at Bear Creek located off Highway 64 in Mocksville! 4.5 acres of fully fenced (woven mesh wire and post/rail 5.5ft to 6ft high) with trails, woods, field, and plenty of room to run and explore! Open the front gate and drive into the secure parking area. ***CLOSE AND LATCH THE GATE BEHIND YOU BEFORE GETTING YOUR DOGS OUT OF THE CAR!*** Walk through gate into the space from the secure parking area. This area has wooded trails as well as cleared areas. Densely wooded areas and thickets all around. TICK PREVENTION IS A MUST! There are no pesticides or herbicides used here. Only natural horticulture vingear for spot weed control. This area is located beside Bear Creek and when the creek is high or after a good rain IT WILL BE MUDDY on the right side of the property! Dry creekbed located across the back of the property. **The Creek is NOT accessible from the fenced property** -Water hose on site for use. Dog shower/bath area to the right of the shed with dog wash hose attached, shampoo, and wash shammy. Or you may bring your own bath supplies! Feel free to give your dog a shower/bath! ***Just added dog pool*** For use at no extra charge! Fill up/use if you'd like! (It's been stored for the fall/winter...but if you would like to use it...please let me know at time of booking) -Dog water bowl, dog brush, toys, treats, human and dog tick spray provided. Welcome! Right now its VERY basic. We are looking add on more fun attractions. The booking includes a .25 acre of a fully fenced in area. This area provides ample space to play or just hang out with your dog. We are about 15 minutes outside of down town Winston-Salem. Just far enough away to feel like you are out in the country. Of course, we are bias, but the area is very peaceful. In sharing our land we hope to provide folks with a safe place that you can enjoy watching your dog explore and play. Amenties: - Dog toys / tennis balls, herding ball, and tug toys - Agility obstacles / a small set of cones and poles to jump over - Chairs / 3 lawn chairs - First aid kit / one for humans and one for dogs - Bug Spray - Hand Towels/ to dry off (no worries if they get muddy) - Wet wipes / to clean your dogs muddy paws - Poop Bags Please Note: When using the water hydrant, we are on a well! Because of being on a well we would appreciate you double checking to make sure the water is off before you depart :) We have changed the sniff spot listing slightly. The perimeter of my property is fenced so you know you’re still on my property. However, it is triple strand so dogs could go through it. We do have chickens and ducks that free roam. We also have other animals that will be contained in the barnyard behind the barn. Drive straight down driveway towards RV. There will be a gate straightahead and another gate to the left. Park anywhere there and use either gate. The gate to the left leads to that big field and the creek runs the length of it. The other gate leads to the back and crosses over the creek. Walk up there just a bit and you will see a path to the left. It goes up to another open field.

Groups are welcome...so reserve a friend or two! We do limit cars to 2 per reservation or with advanced notice more are allowed. Also, speed limit on our long gravel drive is 10 MPH. We have a water spigot inside dog lot near steps. Please DO NOT use the water spigot in the open field near edge of driveway (handle will not cut off water supply!) No bowls provided due to sanitation so please bring a water bowl. Our property is over 0.2 miles from any public road. Enjoy the quiet country setting and have fun!
