Dog Hiking Trails

Unfenced
63 acres

Come hike 63+ acres of land with trails throughout at our future homestead! The first 20 acres is grassland with multiple mowed trails. The back 43+ is wooded with one main trail circling through it and two entrance/exits. The brown “Trail Entrance” signs mark the woods. There is wetland off trail throughout the property, but mostly in the woods. Water levels will vary. The trails are used for ATV’ing but make for a great hike! Plan for a picnic…we have a platform with a picnic table and garbage can available. A beautiful piece of land! Note: The large pond outside the trail at the back of the property in the woods is not ours. The woods trail runs along the border of it. It’s a steep drop to the pond. There’s a house on the other side of it. This is an area you’ll hear people & other noises if they’re outside. *No well or city water access at this time* It’s vacant land we use recreationally right now. :)

7 Acre Fully Fenced Private Dog Park In Lindstrom

Fully Fenced
7 acres

Our property is a dog’s paradise! We have an open backyard, wooded trails, and an orchard out back with tall grasses. We keep the trails and orchard mowed for walking, but your dog will have ample woods, puddles, and other adventures at their disposal! Since we live in the woods, we occasionally have trees fall down on our 5 foot welded wire fence. Please be mindful if your dog is an exit seeker, although we walk the fence and mend any spots we see often. There is a large pole barn visible near the gate where you enter that is our neighbor’s yard. His yard/barn is not visible from the rest of the property once you’re down the path a little ways. For SPRING/SUMMER months, tics and mosquitos are around. We do not spray our land, so make sure you and your pup have the protection you need. In summer mosquitos are often worse near dawn and at dusk, especially in thicker parts of the woods, and less so in the backyard and orchard areas. In the winter, we snowmobile our trails to keep them walkable! There may be slippery spots here and there, so prepare accordingly! Be sure to look ahead at the roads on MN 511 in case of winter weather.

Kay's 10 Acre Partially Fenced Private Dog Park In Corcoran

Partially Fenced
10 acres

Plan is to open site by June 20, 2026. Front area will have a securely fenced area, as well as adjacent grassy unfenced area. Upon following the driveway to behind the residence, there is another less securely fenced area. This area exits to a pond area and another bigger grassy area. At the point that the path crosses over the creek, a sign posted will request dogs to be leashed beyond that point, both for safety and for the purpose of avoiding intruding upon the neighbor’s property. Various walking paths will be cleared through the small woods, after which walkers may double back and complete their trek in the area around the barn and residence. There will be a small picnic area outside of the front fully fenced private dog park area.

Ogilvie dog hiking trails feature amenities designed for natural exploration and varied terrain: wooded trails, open meadows, and varied natural terrain, secure fencing options, water stations, waste disposal, and often extras like toys, shade structures, or parking. Unlike public parks with generic setups, Ogilvie hosts customize their spaces. Browse 12 listings to compare—from bare essentials to luxury amenities perfect for your dog's needs.

How much does it cost to use Ogilvie dog hiking trails?

Members get discounted rates at participating Ogilvie spots, and new users can start with a 7-day free trial. There are no surprise booking fee. Your credits cover the reservation. Browse Ogilvie dog hiking trails listings to see individual spot pricing, and check your membership dashboard to see how many credits you have available.

How clean are private dog hiking trails in Ogilvie compared to public parks?

Significantly cleaner. Public dog parks in Ogilvie see dozens of dogs daily with sporadic city maintenance. Private dog hiking trails have dedicated hosts who maintain their own spaces—cleanliness directly affects their reviews and bookings. Many Ogilvie hosts provide fresh poop bags, sanitized water stations, and regular grounds cleaning. With only one booking at a time, waste accumulation is minimal.

Can I book Ogilvie dog hiking trails on short notice?

Usually yes! Many Ogilvie dog hiking trails offer same-day or next-day availability with instant booking. Unlike public parks that might be crowded unpredictably, Ogilvie private dog hiking trails let you reserve exactly when needed: early morning before work, midday breaks, evening exercise. Real-time availability shows on each listing—perfect for last-minute training or when routines get disrupted.

What's the best time to visit dog hiking trails in Ogilvie?

Any time works since bookings are private! Unlike public dog parks in Ogilvie that are crowded during peak hours (mornings, evenings, weekends), you don't worry about timing. Book when it fits YOUR schedule—midday when it's quiet, dawn for cool weather, late evening for convenience. Many Ogilvie dog hiking trails have lighting for after-dark visits. This flexibility is perfect for shift workers or dogs with special needs.

Do Ogilvie dog hiking trails allow multiple dogs?

Yes! Most Ogilvie dog hiking trails welcome multiple dogs from the same household. Some hosts set limits (check listings), but generally you can bring your whole pack. This is perfect for multi-dog households in Ogilvie where some dogs are selective—they can play together privately without outside interference. Great for sibling bonding or families with mixed ages/temperaments.

Can I use Ogilvie dog hiking trails for special events?

Many Ogilvie dog hiking trails welcome doggy birthday parties, training workshops, breed meetups, or group playdates. Private bookings mean your event won't be interrupted. Coordinate with Ogilvie hosts about capacity, amenities (parking, shade, water), and any restrictions. Some even provide party extras. Check individual Ogilvie dog hiking trail listings for event policies.

How do Ogilvie dog hiking trails accommodate dogs with special needs?

Ogilvie dog hiking trails are excellent for special needs dogs because you can filter for specific requirements: flat terrain for mobility issues, secure fencing for blind/deaf dogs, quiet locations for anxious dogs, small spaces for seniors, or maximum privacy for reactive dogs. Read reviews from other Ogilvie special-needs dog owners, and contact hosts with questions. The private setting means you can adapt the experience to your dog's unique requirements.
