We are Dan & Laura. We own 3+ acres of a cleared, mowed grass field area PLUS 7 acres of wooded ‘truck width’ trails. The trails are maintained with our mower, so no or minimal brush on them, making them easy to navigate. They are also color coded marked for ease of sense of direction. These woods are ‘working’ woods, as we harvest fallen trees to use for heat, so it is NOT Metro Park pristine! The trails are dirt, of course, and will be muddy- according to the weather conditions… However…. There always seems to be trails that maintain their drained dryness more than others. Our trails cover the entire perimeter of the property! They weave in and out among themselves! Quite a fun adventure! Pictured are wildlife- however- there is absolutely no guarantee you will see any. We have NO domestic deer like most suburbs do, so there may be NO sightings- just hoof prints. You have access to warm hose water during the cooler/ cold months. You are permitted to smoke and bring a cooler. If bringing kids please let me know. I will try to plant a feather or something for them to ‘find’ - You will pick up a sheet upon arrival, and parking is on site.

Hello! I am located in Lyndhurst and am a dog lover through and through. I currently have 4 dogs (they will be secured and away), and volunteer at City Dogs in my free time. I love providing dogs a safe place to run, decompress, and just have some good off leash time. Here you will find a large grass yard, with the benefit of a small wooded area. The wooded area is covered in natural woodchips and offers a large shaded area. There is a large deck for you to relax on as your pup runs, or a bench by the fire pit if you want to sit near your buddy as they run! We no longer have our beautiful rescue Marla so we are hoping other pups can take advantage of our space. We have a fully fenced backyard with beautiful green grass and a furnished deck. It gets full sun; we have umbrellas on the deck and one large tree for shade. I always try to put out water and bags, but there is a blue hose if needed. We do use an organic, pet-friendly lawn company called Ecolawn. A small section of the yard contains cultivated plants that some guests may prefer their pets not interact with. We also recently added an inflatable hot tub that we request is only used by family. Please consider whether your pup can ignore it so we don't spring a leak! There may be driveway parking but there is always street parking directly across from the house facing north and in the cul-de-sac almost directly across from our house.
