Leslie's 12 Acre Unfenced Private Dog Park In Ann Arbor

Unfenced
12 acres

Welcome! We are working hard to make our peaceful, quiet 12 acres into a beautiful park. You are welcome at any time, day or night, to walk, run, bike, ski or snowshoe with your dogs. We no longer have any pets-- no more dogs, horses, chickens, or other livestock. We are often visited by deer and groundhogs. Although we have 12 acres, the house and barn are in the middle of it, so you may see the house from many areas during your visit. Usually, we are working inside or we are away and we keep most of the curtains closed. We may use the driveway or receive a delivery. Future plans include clearing the West trails, planting more evergreens, and making an indoor play space in the barn. Our park will continue to improve -- it is a work in progress! We took lots of pictures and will continue to add them. We want you to know as much as possible about the site before you come here for your visit. We welcome your suggestions on how to improve.

Mandee's Private Wooded Dog Park

Unfenced
11 acres

This is privately owned land in Chelsea and will allow you to take your dog for a run in a mowed area with sections of long grass and also for a run through the woods. The wooded area has a significant amount of wetland that the doggies love to get filthy in so bring towels if you expect your dogs to run in the woods. You may see deer and other wild animals on the property. This is an awesome spot to take your pupper out in the wilds for a truly unique dog park experience. My puppers have a blast whenever we bring them out - and so does my 15 year old son. Please be careful on the wooded path as there are a lot of trip hazards in the form of dead trees and logs.

Frequently asked questions about Oregon dog hiking trails

Why are private dog hiking trails better than public dog parks in Oregon?

Private dog hiking trails in Oregon eliminate major public park risks: unpredictable dog encounters that scare puppies, aggressive dogs that trigger reactive behavior, chaotic crowds that overwhelm seniors or small dogs, and disease transmission from dozens of unknown dogs. Oregon's 12 private dog hiking trails offer complete privacy, professionally maintained cleanliness, and controlled environments. Whether you have a fearful puppy, a reactive adult, a fragile senior, or simply want peace of mind, private bookings give you control.

How safe are Oregon dog hiking trails compared to public dog parks?

Oregon dog hiking trails are significantly safer than public facilities. Public dog parks risk: aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission, overcrowding that triggers reactive behaviors or injuries. Private Oregon dog hiking trails eliminate these concerns—bookings are completely private, all guests have vaccinated dogs (or titers), and hosts maintain clean spaces. 93% of Sniffspot reviews are 5 stars.

Are Oregon dog hiking trails safe for reactive dogs?

Oregon owners of reactive dogs choose dog hiking trails because they offer safe, private environments for off-leash exercise without the triggers of public dog parks. Complete privacy means no unexpected dog encounters, no overwhelming chaos, no aggressive dogs. Reactive dogs can finally enjoy natural exploration and varied terrain while building confidence in a controlled setting. Many Oregon reactive dog owners say Sniffspot is their only safe exercise option.

Can anxious dogs safely use Oregon dog hiking trails?

Yes! Oregon dog hiking trails provide controlled environments perfect for anxious or fearful dogs. No other dogs means no triggers, no overwhelming situations. Anxious dogs can explore a natural outdoor path where dogs can explore varied terrain off-leash in a safe, private environment at their own pace without stress. Many Oregon dog hiking trails offer quiet, spacious settings ideal for building confidence in nervous dogs who struggle at chaotic public dog parks.

Are Oregon dog hiking trails good for small dogs?

Absolutely! Small dogs benefit enormously from Oregon dog hiking trails because they can explore without fear of being trampled or intimidated by larger breeds. Many small dog owners in Oregon avoid public parks entirely due to safety concerns—dog hiking trails eliminate that worry. Filter for appropriate sizing, secure fencing with no gaps, and hosts who understand petite pup needs.

Do Oregon dog hiking trails work for senior dogs?

Yes! Senior dogs thrive at Oregon dog hiking trails because they can move at their own pace without being knocked over by rambunctious puppies or young dogs. Look for Oregon dog hiking trails with flat terrain, easy access, shade, and smaller sizes if your senior has mobility limitations. The privacy means your older dog can rest when needed and enjoy gentle exercise without stress.

What do Oregon dog owners say about dog hiking trails?

Reviews of Oregon dog hiking trails consistently highlight: excellent privacy for all dog types, secure fencing that prevented escapes, clean and well-maintained spaces, responsive hosts, and safe environments for anxious, fearful, reactive, senior, and small dogs. Local favorite Leslie's 12 Acre Unfenced Private Dog Park In Ann Arbor is particularly praised in Oregon. Read reviews to see real experiences from Oregon dog owners with similar needs.

How clean and maintained are Oregon dog hiking trails?

Oregon hosts maintain their own dog hiking trails and take pride in providing excellent experiences. All guests must have vaccinated dogs (or titers). Many Oregon hosts provide poop bags, trash cans, and regular cleaning. Reviews highlight maintenance quality—browse Oregon dog hiking trail listings to see real feedback about cleanliness and upkeep.
