🐾 Welcome to Maxie The first private swimming pool in the area with spacious backyard to explore, designed just for dogs to splash, swim, and have fun! 🌞 About the Pool -Chlorinated and professionally cleaned weekly. -Pool depth & entry steps: The pool goes up to 9 ft deep on the east side, but most of the west side is waist-high shallow water. There are 3 wide steps where dogs can easily enter, rest, or leave the pool. -Dog life jackets in XS/S/M/L sizes, pool toys, and treats available. -Solar-heated by the sun through solar panels, so water temperature depends on sunshine and weather (not a jacuzzi or gas-heated pool). I have a large space that I am sure a dog will love to run in. In the winter, post rain, it can get VERY muddy back there. Years of dogs running around has torn up a lot of the ground cover and it's now just dirt, which becomes mud in the winter. In the summer, the "grass" (more weeds than actual grass) gets very dry. There are some burrs due to the dryness so if your dog has longer fur they might get some attached to them. I do my best to weed the weeds that produce them, but there still might be some. It's a fairly large open space with a longer run on the side. Also, I want to note that in the back of the property the fence is lower, around 4/4.5 feet (the rest of the yard is at least 6 feet), so if your dog is a good jumper, this could be an issue. A lot of vegetation and places to sit down, meditate, read a book, study, or have a picnic. Your pup will love to run and play in our one-acre garden. Picking fruit or vegetable etc. is off the limit. Drinking water for animals is provided in various containers throughout the property. Please do not turn on or use any water equipment on our property - we had some serious problems in the past because of this. Please clean up after your dog’s “business” - smile. That’s a serious and mandatory request. Poop bags are available in the plastic box with the other dog gear, but please bring your own backup supply just in case and do not leave the poop bags behind. BROWN garbage can is in the front of the house by the street for your convenience. Thank you! Woof woof! 🌸 Note: in the rainy season we might not change the water for dogs because it’s senseless. We value our neighbors and appreciate your help in respecting their homes while visiting our Sniffspot. The full lot is 0.3 acres with wildlife bordering majority of the yard - if you’re lucky, wildlife like deer & lots of squirrels + birds can be spotted! I pick up after my dogs on the weekend. Edit 1/19/25: Construction debris on/around the deck has been removed. Edit 4/17/25: Fencing along the right side (when you walk in) has been re-done! Edit 6/16/25: We have regularly scheduled landscaping which will hopefully help with foxtails. Please remember this is a yard and not a dog park. Edit 9/27/25: Please do not block any driveways including ours when finding parking. Edit 6/2/26: The calendar has been updated to reflect availability on week days from 7am-6pm. Weekends are no longer offered due to planned landscaping/maintenance to ensure better experience for visitors. 2/3 Acre Fully Fenced Private Dog Agility field

Our Sniffspot is located on a quiet dead end in the back of Montara, CA. It is fully fenced. It contains 2 fields, a lower and upper, both suitable for use. I will have agility courses set up a portion of the time. Please do not move equipment if there is a numbered course set up. You are free to use tunnels and jumps, but please be careful on the contact obstacles if they are set up. Please watch your dogs and do not allow them to mark the obstacles, tunnels, jumps or weave poles. If they do, can you kindly rinse with the watering can. Do not place any human items or treats on the dog walk. Do not rest or lean on the dog walk. It is an expensive piece of equipment, not a table. Note: there are chickens and horses next door at times, please do not allow your dogs to bark or charge the fence at them. Also, do not let your dogs repeatedly run up to the horses if they are near the fence, and potentially scare them. They are not as visible from the lower field. I have an older dog that sometimes barks from inside the house but she is not visible. Thanks for exploring our Sniffspot!

Kristyn's Fully Fenced Yard For Dogs To Rent In Almaden Valley- South San Jose

My home is in South San Jose and a beautiful safe and quiet neighborhood in Almaden Valley. We live on a quiet cul-de-sac and our house faces a creek with a wonderful walking trail that is dog friendly. There are plenty of nearby parks for hiking or walking right outside my door or a short 5 minute drive from our house. I currently do not have a dog but I did so my backyard is set up for dogs with newer artificial turf and 2 lawn areas. Please note I do have two indoor cats, which should not be a problem unless your dog is not a fan of cats and will get reactive. Please message me preferably a day ahead of time or at least hours ahead of time so that I can prepare and make sure that the back three sliders have the blinds and shutters closed at least at dog eye level.😊 I want everyone to enjoy their experience especially the dogs, and I don’t want my cats scared to death either! I cannot guarantee you that they won’t necessarily try to peek out and see why there are dogs in their yard because they are cats after all, but for the most part they will cooperate. This works out fairly well from what I’ve experienced and seen. We ask that you please not let your dog scratch or dig on the turf as that could damage them. I have multiple safe watering vessels for birds and dogs. There is no pesticides used in my yard or harmful chemicals. I have an organic home garden. The same thing goes with the garden so please make sure your dogs do not get into it as I have put a lot of time, love, sweat and labor to have a thriving garden. I have a large patio set with a new large umbrella and padded chairs that you are welcome to use. There are water bowls and two hoses and water to refill any water bowls at opposite ends of the yard. We just ask that you are responsible and respectful with our things and our property and home. We recently remodeled and one of the upgrades and renovations was putting in the artificial lawns. Please pick up after your dogs and yourself if you bring food or a snack and you may use our garbage or recycling can on the side of the house to dispose of waste or trash.
