Property known as Walnut Hill has 30+ acres of unfenced woods and rough trails of nearly two miles. Dogs are free to run untethered if appropriate for the dog and handler.

Over 2 miles of forested trails through private woods across 40 acres, abutting private conservation land on two sides. Perfect for privacy and either leashed or unleashed walks. Ideal for dogs who like to romp in the woods! Property includes streams, wetlands, hills, and clearings. Contact in advance for specific trails permissible to access and other rules, including where to park. Property is posted No Hunting but we still recommend wearing orange during hunting season for safety.

Ticket to Heaven Animal Sanctuary

Ticket to Heaven is a small rescue farm sitting on a total of 75 acres, where we provide visits to learn about horses, farm and rescue. We have both farm and small animals in our care. In addition to a fully fenced run area (maybe 1.5-2 acre) and an easily accessible private trail loop. All proceeds through sniffspot go directly to the Sanctuary.

A few quick notes: the trails can get muddy during rainy or winter months, so we recommend wearing boots. The pond is not maintained, and guests who choose to enter the water do so at their own risk. We’re also continuing to mark property lines and add signage to help everyone feel comfortable and informed during their visit.
