NB: Be careful with the irrigation ditch/ Pierce Lateral (historic water canal) as there is no water in it right now BUT it is FULL of tumbleweed. Both our dogs jumped in and one (see photo of black and white dog) managed to get out but our spaniel got stuck. It is 3-4 ft deep in tumbleweed so he was buried and we couldn’t see him. It was just what we needed to be able to walk my mom’s dog off leash for a bit to get some exercise for her! It’s so hard that counties and cities are anti e-collars. I see dogs behave better with e-collar all the time. And I’m not anti leashes either. I have a little dog and can’t stand it when someone in the park has there’s off leash insisting they are perfect as they charge up to me and my dog. But I do believe e e-collars offer the same restraint if not more of one and do think they should be considered as a means of restraining and controlling their dog! Need to spread the word on the app more! But I am very pleased to have found it and the site we choose was perfect for some free time! Brooke H.

Very happy to have stumbled upon someone else mentioning this app and that I took the time to check it out. It was just what we needed to be able to walk my mom’s dog off leash for a bit to get some exercise for her! It’s so hard that counties and cities are anti e-collars. I see dogs behave better with e-collar all the time. And I’m not anti leashes either. I have a little dog and can’t stand it when someone in the park has there’s off leash insisting they are perfect as they charge up to me and my dog. 55The dogs had fun! It's just a field, but they ran around and played frisbee and now they are all napping. There are roads on 2 sides that pretty consistently had cars driving by, so keep that in mindAmber N.

There is a lot of natural vegetation and I was glad I brought a lot of gear in preparation. I appreciated my leather boots, jeans, water bottle, and the dogs' Rex Specs. My dogs and I had a great time exploring Dragon Pepper Farm! This area is huge and it took us the whole hour to walk all the way through it. There is a lot of natural vegetation and I was glad I brought a lot of gear in preparation. I appreciated my leather boots, jeans, water bottle, and the dogs' Rex Specs. My dogs are reliable off leash when no dogs are present, and this worked very well for us.

Great visit as always. This property is fantastic, my dogs love it here. I love that there are no prairie dogs, just mostly smaller critter holes. This is a farm pasture with good grass, dirt and weeds. Trucks drive fast on the two paved roads bordering the property, making it a great space for socializing puppies to traffic noise. Leashes are a must for untrained dogs here. If you're expecting a manicured space, this is not the spot for you. My dogs are going home happy after an hour of running, sniffing, and recall practice!

Bring plenty of water and be ready to go home with happy, dusty, tired dogs!

It is bordered by roads on two sides, so not recommended if your dog might bolt after a rabbit, etc., but it was perfect for my dogs' needs. This may not be a good spot for dogs who are particularly sensitive to noises like gunshots, because it it a rural area with people shooting and "poppers" to scare away birds going iff in the distance. Not a problem for my crew, though! This was a perfect alternative to the overcrowded trails we would otherwise have to brave to get some exercise on a warm Sunday.
