Cathy's 20 Acre Partially Fenced Private Dog Park In Willits

Partially Fenced
20 acres

Part of 160 acre off-grid homestead and along Highway 20/Ft Bragg Rd (10-15min from 101) we are an excellent roadside stop on a road trip. 1st time visitors are met at the gate by the roadside farm stand. and shown around. I have cut trails through the grassy fields to walk on and there are big oak trees for shade. One trail passes the wildlife corridor that passes under Hwy 20/Ft Bragg Rd. If you’re sitting/resting in the area I cleared across from the corridor, you may see some wildlife. I provide a water bucket for dogs to drink from. We do not have permanent chairs at this time, but you’re welcome to bring your own or check some out until I can provide something permanent. We also have ample space that you may bring dog agility stuff for. I am totally willing to clear space in the grass for your equipment, just let me know and we’ll create a spot together. I hope this spot provides great happiness to you and your dog.

Megan's 2 Acre Fully Fenced Private Dog Park In Philo

Fully Fenced
2 acres

Designated Off-Leash Area (2 Acres Fully Fenced) This Sniffspot includes a fully fenced 2-acre grassy orchard area near the chicken coop. This is the primary off-leash space and is regularly maintained and inspected for safety. The fenced orchard is ideal for running, fetch, and secure play. Additional Ranch Access (Leashed Only) Our property is a 150-acre working ranch. Guests are welcome to walk their dogs on ranch roads and surrounding areas, but these are natural rural surfaces (gravel, dirt, grass) and are not groomed park-style areas. Dogs must remain leashed outside the fenced orchard zone. Important: If you are looking for a manicured suburban dog park experience, this may not be the right fit. This is a private rural ranch environment.

Sally's Private Dog Park In Philo

Unfenced
2 acres

There is a fenced in backyard that would be secure for a large dog but a small dog could find a way out. I have a large water bowl and hose for fresh water. Poop bags/shovel available There are three different walks or trails. Two are rather steep terrain and one is short but mild. Off leash is ok but deer can be present at times so know your dog. I’m almost always home and always available if you have any questions! Easy to park

Frequently asked questions about Point Arena small dog parks

What do private small dog parks in Point Arena offer that public parks don't?

Private small dog parks in Point Arena offer complete privacy (no other dogs), specialized environments for appropriately-sized exercise, professionally maintained cleanliness, flexible 24/7 scheduling, and safe spaces for all temperaments—puppies, seniors, small dogs, reactive dogs, or any pup needing accommodations. Public dog parks in Point Arena can't guarantee any of this. With 14 options, you get predictable, controlled environments perfect for your dog's specific needs.

Can I find fully fenced private dog parks in Point Arena?

Yes! Most of Point Arena's 14 private dog parks are fully fenced. Use the "fully fenced" filter to find secure enclosures with detailed specs: height (4ft, 6ft, 8ft+), material (wood, chain-link, vinyl), and gap information. This is crucial for escape artists, puppies learning boundaries, reactive dogs needing contained space, or small dogs who might squeeze through. Point Arena listings include fencing photos so you can verify security.

When can puppies start visiting small dog parks in Point Arena?

Puppies can visit Point Arena small dog parks as early as 8-10 weeks with initial vaccinations, much earlier than the 16+ weeks needed for public park safety. This early, controlled socialization prevents fear and reactivity issues later. Plus, puppies can explore appropriately-sized exercise without being overwhelmed or learning bad behaviors from poorly socialized adult dogs. Many Point Arena trainers specifically use small dog parks for puppy development.

How do I find private small dog parks near me in Point Arena?

Browse Point Arena's 14 small dog parks on Sniffspot by entering your neighborhood or zip code. Filter by distance, then narrow by features: fully fenced, "fewer dogs seen/heard," specific amenities, terrain type, or size. Each Point Arena listing shows photos, reviews, exact location, and instant availability. Local favorite Cathy's 20 Acre Partially Fenced Private Dog Park In Willits is particularly popular among Point Arena dog owners.

Can I rent small dog parks in Point Arena by the hour?

Yes! All 14 small dog parks in Point Arena are available for hourly rental. Most bookings are 1-2 hours, though you can reserve longer for training or events. Book instantly through Sniffspot, arrive during your time slot, and have complete privacy. Many Point Arena dog owners rent weekly for consistent, safe exercise.

What's the difference between Sniffspot small dog parks and public dog parks in Point Arena?

The biggest difference is privacy and control. Public dog parks in Point Arena mean sharing space with unknown dogs and owners. That means you can't control who shows up or how they behave. Sniffspot's 14 Point Arena small dog parks give you private bookings where only your dogs are present. You choose the time, the space, and the environment. Plus, your pup enjoys appropriately-sized exercise and maintained cleanliness that public parks can't guarantee.

Are there indoor small dog parks in Point Arena?

Yes! Point Arena has climate-controlled indoor small dog parks perfect for extreme weather, rainy days, or year-round exercise. Indoor Point Arena locations typically feature protective flooring, controlled temperatures, and enclosed environments. They're especially popular for puppy training, senior dogs, reactive dogs, or anyone wanting consistent access regardless of Point Arena weather. Filter by "indoor" to see options.

How do Point Arena small dog parks help with dog training?

Point Arena trainers love small dog parks because privacy eliminates distractions. Work on recall, practice confidence building in appropriately-sized spaces, recall for toy breeds, or socialization with size-matched playmates, reinforce obedience, socialize puppies, or address reactivity without interruptions. For reactive dogs, train without trigger-stacking. For puppies, practice skills in controlled increments. For any dog, get focused training time in an environment specifically designed for appropriately-sized exercise.
