55The space was huge & spacious for sniffing & exploring! There is plenty of balls/toys for tossing, fetching, agility course to try out, & chair/pagoda to relax for the humans. Also as noted, there is LOTS of poop bags & receptacles available which is super convenient for picking up poop. We did hear barking at a distance but did not see dogs or other domestic animals. The field is mowed & dry this time of year.
For reactive dogs visiting: My dog is reactive (fearful of) other dogs, not humans. The day of our visit, it was earlier in the morning around 8:30 am. We did spot 2 different dogs with their humans at separate times going on their walk on the road upon our arrival. My dog did not see them since we waited until they passed. We mostly stayed at the upper 2/3 of the field away from road. No other dogs were seen walking during our visit. The road does not have sidewalk or walking friendly access so there would be a lower chance of foot traffic with dog walkers. Keep that in mind if your dog can run the full length of the field to bark/lunge/charge as dogs walking by along the road. Overall, we felt comfortable enough in the space & would visit again. cathy w.

They had a chuck-it (which was great since we forgot ours). 2hrs was a perfect amount of time for my dog to get some running in with cool down laps in between. Very safe, quiet pasture with thoughtful amenities such as a cute shelter with a swinging bench for the humans. My dogs loved running around and smelling everything. My corgi loved going through the agility tunnel. Fresh water on demand was much appreciated!

But here there were dogs barking in the distance and he was able to be his true self. My dogs are escape artists so I walked the whole perimeter before letting them enter. Are dog agility parks safe?
While public off-leash dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than city parks. Contrary to a typical dog park, with Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot agility park?
We require that all dogs have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. Treat all park equipment with respect and care.
Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot agility park at the same time as me?
Sniffspot only allows one booking at a time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the spot during visits. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between bookings.
