Natalie's 33 Acre Fully Fenced Private Dog Park In Preston

Fully Fenced
33 acres

Under new construction. We hope to be opened back up in the Spring of 2026. This is still a work in progress as far as the park goes. Dogs outside of the park area will need to be on a leash... even though it is fully fenced... some of the fencing is not all dog proof. We are hoping to have this ready by November if not we'll open it in the Spring. We've had dogs come here for visits but all the amenities on this listing are Not yet in place. We will update this description as it becomes ready. Thank you for your patience and we eagerly look forward to meeting you and your fur family. Dog park is $10 each visit, access to all the amenities minus the agility course. Agility course is an additional $5 more. We also offer medium -large dog boarding. Limited space. PLEASE plan ahead and book in advance. All dogs must be current on their vaccines and current on deworming. No puppies unless they've had all their first shots (3 sets) at least 2 weeks prior to arrival. Or if they were bred by us they are welcome. Any puppies and dogs raised or bred by us, or adopted from us recieve a discount....otherwise dog day care is $25 a day OR $500 a month(5 days a week for 4 weeks) And while this is common sense...if your dog is sick please stay home. Come another day. If you're dog isn't friendly...let us know before you book so we can schedule you in to where you and your dog have the best experience, and we can keep other guests happy and safe too. THANK YOU. PLEASE MESSAGE WITH ANY QUESTIONS.

Frequently asked questions about Portage dog fields

What do private dog fields in Portage offer that public parks don't?

Private dog fields in Portage offer complete privacy (no other dogs), specialized environments for full-speed running and fetch, professionally maintained cleanliness, flexible 24/7 scheduling, and safe spaces for all temperaments—puppies, seniors, small dogs, reactive dogs, or any pup needing accommodations. Public dog parks in Portage can't guarantee any of this. With 17 options, you get predictable, controlled environments perfect for your dog's specific needs.

Can I find fully fenced private dog parks in Portage?

Yes! Most of Portage's 17 private dog parks are fully fenced. Use the "fully fenced" filter to find secure enclosures with detailed specs: height (4ft, 6ft, 8ft+), material (wood, chain-link, vinyl), and gap information. This is crucial for escape artists, puppies learning boundaries, reactive dogs needing contained space, or small dogs who might squeeze through. Portage listings include fencing photos so you can verify security.

When can puppies start visiting dog fields in Portage?

Puppies can visit Portage dog fields as early as 8-10 weeks with initial vaccinations, much earlier than the 16+ weeks needed for public park safety. This early, controlled socialization prevents fear and reactivity issues later. Plus, puppies can explore full-speed running and fetch without being overwhelmed or learning bad behaviors from poorly socialized adult dogs. Many Portage trainers specifically use dog fields for puppy development.

How do I find private dog fields near me in Portage?

Browse Portage's 17 dog fields on Sniffspot by entering your neighborhood or zip code. Filter by distance, then narrow by features: fully fenced, "fewer dogs seen/heard," specific amenities, terrain type, or size. Each Portage listing shows photos, reviews, exact location, and instant availability. Local favorite Private Ranch for Doggies is particularly popular among Portage dog owners.

Can I rent dog fields in Portage by the hour?

Yes! All 17 dog fields in Portage are available for hourly rental. Most bookings are 1-2 hours, though you can reserve longer for training or events. Book instantly through Sniffspot, arrive during your time slot, and have complete privacy. Many Portage dog owners rent weekly for consistent, safe exercise.

What's the difference between Sniffspot dog fields and public dog parks in Portage?

The biggest difference is privacy and control. Public dog parks in Portage mean sharing space with unknown dogs and owners. That means you can't control who shows up or how they behave. Sniffspot's 17 Portage dog fields give you private bookings where only your dogs are present. You choose the time, the space, and the environment. Plus, your pup enjoys full-speed running and fetch and maintained cleanliness that public parks can't guarantee.

Are there indoor dog fields in Portage?

Yes! Portage has climate-controlled indoor dog fields perfect for extreme weather, rainy days, or year-round exercise. Indoor Portage locations typically feature protective flooring, controlled temperatures, and enclosed environments. They're especially popular for puppy training, senior dogs, reactive dogs, or anyone wanting consistent access regardless of Portage weather. Filter by "indoor" to see options.

How do Portage dog fields help with dog training?

Portage trainers love dog fields because privacy eliminates distractions. Work on recall, practice long-distance recall across open space, running drills, or field sports like fetch and frisbee, reinforce obedience, socialize puppies, or address reactivity without interruptions. For reactive dogs, train without trigger-stacking. For puppies, practice skills in controlled increments. For any dog, get focused training time in an environment specifically designed for full-speed running and fetch.
