Talk about a wonderful sniff spot. Check out Golden Hills just right outside hocking hills. This remote spot is 17 acres of woods, creeks and a pond just for your dogs. Why Golden Hills? We got a property a while ago and had 2 golden retrievers. It was their favorite spot and we spent a lot of time there. Unfortunately we lost both of them last October but their legacy will live on at our property. The worst part about the property is that they may never want to leave :). I will not put on the kiddy pool on days when it will be less than 60 degrees during your visit unless specifically requested, which you are welcome to do. Look for the big rock with the address number on it, come all the way up the driveway, park near the basketball hoop, then bring the dog(s) through the gate between the barn and the house. Please note one section of the yard has chickens. They are well protected in a sturdy coop; your dog(s) won’t be able to get to them. But if you are worried about their reactivity, that section of the yard is in the back, and it will start off with the gate closed, your dog won’t see them. But if you’re not worried about it or unsure, you’re welcome to open the gate to that portion of the yard, the chickens will still be secured.
