Approximately 100 feet long and 40+ feet wide, surrounded on three sides by 6' privacy fence and buildings, with 3' picket fence along the back. The back fence looks out onto a neighbors' acres of quiet woods, and deer can often be seen munching the foliage or resting in the shade. Because the back fence is low and birds and bunnies abound, this space is not best suited for your diggers and jumpers/climbers. For those just looking to run off some energy, it is the perfect mix of sun and shade, with plenty of space to run as well as a peaceful place for the humans to relax.

Our property sits 1200+ feet off of the main road and is a total of 28 acres. There are neighboring properties that are 50 acres and 80 acres so no close homes in most directions. We are located approximately 1 mile from West Branch State Park. The property has a clean swimming pond, a walkable forest area with some established trails that are currently covered with leaves. We are a working farm with about 8 acres of crops. There is a large 3 acre wheat field in the front great for ball throwing. The remaining non crop acres are walking paths with some cut grass and yard. We do not have any livestock but our neighbors have cows. There is a secure fence on one side of our property that keeps the cows in their pasture. They’ve never visited us! Neighboring properties are also farms with over 100 acres of open land, woods and crops surrounding our property with no main or visible roads. You can see houses on one side of the property and that’s where the cows live! They have dogs but they’ve never visited us. We do have 2 well behaved German Shorthaired Pointers named River and Remmy who run freely on the property. However we will keep them inside when guests use the property. We have a bench to sit on in a shaded area around the pond for relaxing. The woods are beautiful to walk about as well. There is a large rock in the woods to take a rest on with an amazing ravine creek view. Our property is large and not fenced so dogs with impeccable recall should enjoy the freedom to play, run, swim, sniff and explore. Leashed walks are also welcome. Long leads can also be used. Because we are so far off of any main roads you will feel comfortable here! Your pups are welcome to swim in the pond during your visit. During recent rains our property stays mainly dry and the woods are relatively dry as well as there are many leaves covering the ground. In the winter when the ground is frozen it’s a beautiful walk.

Secluded fenced in yard with plenty to do for you and your fur babies. Two pools that the pups are welcome to and we provide clean dry towels for them. Have little ones with you? Perfect we have a toys and a water table they are welcome to. Table and chairs available. There is a dirt pile for the pups who like to dig.

We are a force-free dog training facility in Chardon, Ohio. If you need help with training, please contact us directly to get information and set something up. The room is large, has dog friendly flooring, and is climate controlled. A non-fenced outdoor potty area is available for the dogs. An office person will be in the center during use but will stay behind a closed door unless needed. We are proud to keep the center safe even for young puppies whp are not fully vaccinated, yet. Current vet records are strictly required to guarantee that safety. Records can be emailed to info@coldnosecompanions.com anytime before the visit. Clean-up supplies including floor sanitizer spray is available for accidents, dishes are washed in between sessions. We are experienced with and compassionate to reactive dogs. If your dog is sensitive, please indicate during booking and we will take precautions not to disturb them.
