Lazy Bones Acres offers 5 acres of wooded hiking trails for you and your furry companion to enjoy. Pack a lunch to enjoy on one of our picnic tables along the way or simply take in the peacefulness of the forest and wildlife. Listen to the squirrels chase each other in the tree tops, the woodpeckers pecking away in a nearby tree, or the geese honking at a nearby pond. Wildlife that are commonly seen on visits include deer, rabbits, wild turkeys, chipmunks, a beautiful array of wild birds, and much more. *Our terrain is uneven as it goes through woods. If you have trouble with balance or walking, please reconsider your visit to our property for your safety. Trails are kept clear, but raspberry and blackberry bushes present thorns, please use caution with these prickers. ** Our spot is fully fenced, however if your dog is not command trained we do not recommend letting them off leash. Dogs have a natural instinct to chase the rabbits and squirrels we have.

Welcome! Come on over and have some fun with your dog in a safe set up. Walk the trails in the forest and prairie to create stronger bond or practice off leash commands without distractions. Use the fenced in agility playground to boost your dog’s confidence or simply play around on the obstacles. The agility area is fully fenced in with 6foot fencing. There is another fully fenced in yard next to it that allows for lots of running. All income from your visit benefits 100% Doggy Has Soul Sanctuary helping strays and unwanted dogs in the US and Carribean.

A very securely fenced and lovely private area to train your dog or just let him or her run and be silly and play. There are often chickens and horses just on the other side of an adjacent fence which many dogs find interesting, but is not included in the accessible play area. A large portion of all funds raised is donated to a Senior Dog Sanctuary. Adults only with dogs unless other arrangements have been made with the property owner. (Owner reserves the right to cancel guests if rental area is too wet or muddy from recent rains in order to preserve the flora.)

We at FYDOLAND understand that there are some dogs that do not do well with other dogs or people. Therefore, we offer a private training/ enrichment room and equipment, approximate 2000 ft² where families can play with their dog in a safe, clean environment. We love our dogs so much that we bought this cute cottage for the huge, 1/2 acre yard! Conveniently located in the suburbs but it feels like you’re in the country. Amenities include mature shade trees, kiddie pools, agility jumps, tunnels & plenty of room to run & play fetch.
