Welcome to our Sniffspot! My name is Julie and I am a homeschool mother of 3, who loves to garden and spend time outside! Most of all, we adore animals! We would love to share our yard with you and your fur-babies! We have fruit trees and berry bushes you are welcome to pick from! We get a ton of apples in the fall, so help yourself! Also, help yourself to snacks and drinks that I will provide prior to your arrival! We have playground equipment and games if you have any littles, and dog toys as well! Please know that I do garden, so please mind my vegetable garden if I have it planted during your visit. I will have it blocked off with small garden fencing. Dog waste bags are provided, and there is a trash can at the gate entrance that you can place them in. Thank you for taking time to visit my page. If you need absolutely anything, please reach out! We do have a stray cat that hangs out here, please be mindful of her. She is very loved, but she will leave the yard once she sees your dog, she is harmless.

Abigail's Barkyard Basecamp!

.75 acres in lovely East Asheville, convenient to town! The yard has two private gated entrances on either side of the home, perched at the top of the hill. Make yourself at home and relax on the comfy outdoor furniture by the firepit or the hammock while your pup zoomies to their heart’s content. There's plenty of dog toys for tug or toss, plus tennis balls and throwers for the Fetch Fanatics—and even a fancy pooper scooper to save your back. Our neighbors on either side do have dogs, and you may occasionally see them out and about-- but they mostly mind their own business (though the Husky on one side might yodel a hello), and all fencing is private/ not shared so there is no possible fence contact. I’m a stay-at-home mom, so an indoor bathroom is available if needed, along with WiFi if you need to stay connected during your visit. We also have two mini Aussies (one tiny, one shmedium). We'd be happy to set up a safe play date if anyone is ever interested, but they stay inside and can't see the backyard so your visit is totally private! We fully understand that sometimes you want a private dog park for a reason! There's a water hose on the back of the home to fill water bowls, as well!

This is a large private field that is tucked just a short distance from downtown Hendersonville one block from the Hendersonville Community Co-op and not far from Flat Rock! This spot Less than 10 minutes from Exit 53 on I-26! Making it the perfect place to stretch your legs before traveling on! It has everything you need: - Flat- though the ground is uneven - Drive in access so you can park inside the 12" gate into the fenced area with your pets! - A custom built gazebo for shelter from the sun and rain - No drive by traffic - No people walking by - Full view of your pet while they run and play! - Games for people and dogs are already onsite! - Please remember to bring water for you and your pets. Please No Digging! I am passionate about helping dogs and this is my fourth Sniffspot and I will do all I can to make this one just as enjoyable for the responsible pet owners closer to Henderson County!

Trails to lazy creek and around perimeter of property. Kennels, cover, chairs and fans available for use in pole barn. We've removed a couple of tiny houses but otherwise it is as as depicted in the video. With slight changes based on season. We have 9.5 acres of pristine mountain glory We have a large unfenced Field, Shallow Creek with some small waterfalls, a spring that feeds a tiny pond, a large cleared Homesite that's away from the road moderate to difficult trails and beautiful views. The trails are moderate until you come to the areas that we had landslides, at which point, you can turn around or enjoy the difficulty it presents. Sometimes I or other guests may be on property. Secluded wooded and grassy 14 acres with a section fenced. Come walk one of the 4 trails or enjoy the fenced play area, or walk the long driveway and loop. Take a breather and relax on the bench or rock near the waterfall pond. Or go on hike on back acres on your own adventure and let your dogs have fun playing in the large creeks. I have 3 dogs, but they are kept inside so enjoy the property without any other animal interference. You may hear barking if near house, but no worries, they can't get out. Hidden River Private Dog Park in Swannanoa, NC

We are back in action after the flood and the Swannanoa Valley where we are located is as beautiful as ever. I'm happy for our four legged friends to enjoy again our large, flat grassy fenced in area for unleashed dogs on a 20 acre farm and wedding venue (Hidden River Events) next to the Swannanoa River. Parking is just outside the fence on the grass. There is a large deck with seating for relaxing while your pup(s) play. If it has rained within 24-48 hours of your visit, the spot may be muddy (even though it is a grass pasture) so it is good to bring towels for your pup. The fenced area has no trees so, there is an umbrella provided. If you use it, make sure to close it before you depart. This is a large farm and the distance from the sniff spot to the river is a good ways. You are welcome to walk your dog on a leash to the river if you don't see any other dogs on the property or an event going on. In 2025, we are not having many, if any, weddings, so you should be good to enjoy the river. If you have questions about where to walk to go to the river or if it's ok to enjoy more than the sniffspot itself, please text me at 828-458-5740. Horses and goats reside in their own fully contained pastures on the property away from the Sniff Spot. There is a water bucket on site to refill a water bowl if the bowl is empty when you arrive. Feel free to leash your dog and take him/her down to the river to play while you are on your visit.

Variety of areas: from large open pastures to heavily wooded (but still easily accessible/walkable) areas = lots to see, hear, and sniff! No need to pick up after your pet either! Water available multiple locations: outside the fenced pastures near block building/parking via hose pipe at the well near the garden 🪴 or inside the pastures (look for the blue barrels and the cattle waterers).

Welcome to Pondside Paws Park, located in a quiet valley 15 minutes outside of downtown Asheville NC. Here you will find a peaceful, fully fenced in half acre lot with a pond for your pups to swim, romp, sniff, play and have a great time. For those more adventurous dogs, there's even a dock for jumping into the pond! There are opportunities for enjoying the pond regardless of your dog's age or exercise ability, as there is a shallow area with tall grass for wading and splashing, and a deeper area for swimming. The slope of the land is gentle for those older dogs as well- this spot is suitable for dogs of all ages and abilities. For the humans, we have several seating options including a picnic table and 4 chairs under a shade sail. Bug spray, sunscreen, fresh drinking water for the dogs and a tote full of toys is also provided in the weatherproof storage shed next to the seating area. Waste bags are available if needed, although we appreciate people bringing their own, and there is a waste container located at the entrance, next to the kiddie pool that is used to rinse off muddy paws. It's recommended that you bring a towel to dry them off before getting back into your car. We hope you enjoy the spot and leave it as you found it for others to enjoy as well.

We are currently overwhelmed with debris from the hurricane and recent storms. Most of the debris has to be temporarily staged in the area that is a portion of the SniffSpot area. If you would like to bring your pup to roam and play in the creek on a hot day, please message me first and I will check the clean-up schedule. Please understand we welcome you but the grassy field is not currently up to our standards. This beautiful open space is beside a bubbling creek wtih both sun and shade options. Across the property you will find digging spots (please fill all hoes) mud, grassy areas and plenty of space to explore. There is a water hose to rinse your dog and limited seating at this time. Please check back often as we are in the process of improving the space with future additional seating, an agility course, wash station and more.

Silent H Acres In Morganton

Silent H Acres is almost an acre fenced spot for your dog to go sniffing, running, fetching, and discovering. There are toys to play with (frisbees, tug rope, tennis balls, etc) and sticks to fetch. The grass ranges from 2” mowed, to 4” natural, up to about 12+ inches. A smattering of trees and two sitting areas for you - the gray Adirondack chairs are a bit too heavy to move, but feel free to move the red ones anywhere you would like. ***We will be adding a couple of agility exercise areas for your dog in the next few days. Toward the front of the field, I have mowed a curvy type of track in case you want to work on guided leash training. For you, we will keep a track around the perimeter of the fence mowed so you can use it for a walking track. PLEASE NOTE, the electric fence is DISCONNECTED.
