55We always love coming here. My corgi has lots of places to sniff and places to run, and it's always been clean. There are great toys to play with. There's one tree, but the rest of the spot is in the sun - just something to keep in mind if your dog gets as hot as mine does in the sunshine. :)Emily S.

55In the middle of all the suburban growth you make a turn and see the natural growth of the area. This spot has everything you need to sit down and watch your dog explore. I will go again. Cindy G.

55Aweome spot - great for my reactive escape artists!! They loved the mix of long grass, sun, and shade along with dunks in the pockets of water and mud to cool off. The chairs under a shady tree were a nice benefit for the humans. We’ll definitely be back! Lara T.

55A lovely SniffSpot! The host left out ice water for both us humans and our dogs. :) We had a great time! Plenty of grass and shade, as well as places to sit. The yard is beautiful with a lot of pretty trees. The host was also kind enough to extend our time 15 minutes (we were late arriving) because there was no booking after us. We pup-reciate it!! :) Maddy S.

55Great little backyard for sniffing and good ball time! There were a ton of different toys, I’ve water, treats and poop bags available which was so appreciative especially on a hot day! There was a dog on the other side of the fence barking but it was good training for my dog but if you’re not into training and have a very reactive dog I would just be aware! Otherwise we had a great time and it was easy to find! Emily C.

55Our puppy Lucy loved this spot to play! The host provided everything we could've needed, including water (dog & human!), bags and trashcan for cleanup, toys, etc. There was also a good amount of shade for us and the puppy to rest and cool off. We will be returning in the near future!Lauren R.

55The area is absolutely beautiful and well-maintained. The fence could safely contain my tiny dog. So far we visited twice in the morning and once in the evening. In the evening, around 8pm, a car pulled up and a person was visible in a close distance. Fortunately, people are not a trigger for my pup. Tae K.

55Great spot! Very easy to find, incredibly well maintained, and the fence was nice and secure. There is a tiny muddy spot so if your dog has a tendency to flop like mine does when they're tired, I'd keep an eye on that. Seriously fantastic though, definitely going to be a return trip.Kimberly H.

55This spot was perfect for our needs today! I recently rolled my ankle and was looking for a spot that wasn't too big since my pup doesn't wonder more than 30-50ft away. The trees provided a great amount of shade so my black pup could choose to just run/play in the shaded area while I was able to sit on the deck and enjoy the rare sun today. Across the street the neighbors lab likes to watch from their living room and bark at dogs/people that they see but once in the backyard it was very secluded. This spot was ample amount of space for my dog to run out her zoomies, she also loved the various ball options, the price point for this spot is a big plus.Cassie A.

Frequently asked questions about Soap Lake small dog parks
Why are private small dog parks better than public dog parks in Soap Lake?
Private small dog parks in Soap Lake eliminate major public park risks: unpredictable dog encounters that scare puppies, aggressive dogs that trigger reactive behavior, chaotic crowds that overwhelm seniors or small dogs, and disease transmission from dozens of unknown dogs. Soap Lake's 10 private small dog parks offer complete privacy, professionally maintained cleanliness, and controlled environments. Whether you have a fearful puppy, a reactive adult, a fragile senior, or simply want peace of mind, private bookings give you control.
How safe are Soap Lake small dog parks compared to public dog parks?
Soap Lake small dog parks are significantly safer than public facilities. Public dog parks risk: aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission, overcrowding that triggers reactive behaviors or injuries. Private Soap Lake small dog parks eliminate these concerns—bookings are completely private, all guests have vaccinated dogs (or titers), and hosts maintain clean spaces. 93% of Sniffspot reviews are 5 stars.
Are Soap Lake small dog parks safe for reactive dogs?
Soap Lake owners of reactive dogs choose small dog parks because they offer safe, private environments for off-leash exercise without the triggers of public dog parks. Complete privacy means no unexpected dog encounters, no overwhelming chaos, no aggressive dogs. Reactive dogs can finally enjoy appropriately-sized exercise while building confidence in a controlled setting. Many Soap Lake reactive dog owners say Sniffspot is their only safe exercise option.
Can anxious dogs safely use Soap Lake small dog parks?
Yes! Soap Lake small dog parks provide controlled environments perfect for anxious or fearful dogs. No other dogs means no triggers, no overwhelming situations. Anxious dogs can explore a space specifically sized and designed for small breeds under 25-30 pounds at their own pace without stress. Many Soap Lake small dog parks offer quiet, spacious settings ideal for building confidence in nervous dogs who struggle at chaotic public dog parks.
Are Soap Lake small dog parks good for small dogs?
Absolutely! Small dogs benefit enormously from Soap Lake small dog parks because they can explore without fear of being trampled or intimidated by larger breeds. Many small dog owners in Soap Lake avoid public parks entirely due to safety concerns—small dog parks eliminate that worry. Filter for appropriate sizing, secure fencing with no gaps, and hosts who understand petite pup needs.
Do Soap Lake small dog parks work for senior dogs?
Yes! Senior dogs thrive at Soap Lake small dog parks because they can move at their own pace without being knocked over by rambunctious puppies or young dogs. Look for Soap Lake small dog parks with flat terrain, easy access, shade, and smaller sizes if your senior has mobility limitations. The privacy means your older dog can rest when needed and enjoy gentle exercise without stress.
What do Soap Lake dog owners say about small dog parks?
