Seating and dog water available on the trail. Wildlife walk the trails too. Use caution We have sheep, turkeys and chickens on the farm. Stay clear of pasture fencing. As lifelong dog lovers, we created this space because our own beloved senior dogs have reached the stage where they prefer naps over chasing balls. Native plants & trees encourage native species (butterflies, hummingbirds, etc). Grass is green in the spring and fall, can be yellow/green in the summer (water preservation.) We are a search and rescue that deals with hard cases and know what its like to have dogs that can’t be around other dogs, animals or people. This spot is dedicated to those dogs in an effort to help keep them active and happy at home so their families don’t have to give them up or have them end up in a shelter. All proceeds from this sniffspot go directly to I Paw’d It Forward's mission of keep families together.

Rhi's Fully Fenced Yard For Dogs To Rent In Vancouver

The yard is about a quarter acre, conveniently located about a half mile from the 1-205. The property is fully fenced and has a privacy screen covering most of the fence for extra security. It’s a good space for fetch, frisbee, or just enjoying being outside and sniffing. The yard is mostly grass with a few larger patches of dirt. I don’t mind some digging in the dirt areas, as we have some diggers in our pack as well. We have a couple seating areas to enjoy and sit with your group on the outdoor couches, or chairs by the water jug to keep an eye on your pup(s). We also have a cutie tree house where they can go and watch the birds or just enjoy a different view while being there. When arriving to the property, feel free to park on the left side of the house in front of the fence. When entering the first gate, you might hear my dobie Bruce bark (I take it as an excited hello lol) as you make your way to the second gate that opens to the yard. Once inside the yard, you’ll never see other dogs or people, but we have lots of neighbor dogs that bark to each other in the area - just a head’s up in case your dog(s) are easily triggered by that. Your fur babies will be watched by our highland girls, Tindy and Maggie (Magnolia) and our goats, Baby and Jake. We have two Frenchtons, Millie and Daisy that also might say hello from afar. We provide lots of toys and a Pooch Smooch kissing booth! You may get lots of exercise as our property is on a hillside and all balls roll downhill. You will park your vehicle inside our fenced area for easy unloading/loading.

Please help keep this site as pristine as you find it. If you pack it in please pack it out. Please park on the gravel rather than in the grass. The I-5 of the Pacific Northern railways runs right by my property. The trains are frequent and loud. Be aware if you have sound reactive dogs (or humans). So far, no one has told me their dog was scared. Thanks!

Welcome to Columbia Gateway! Our park is a fairly wide-open space where your dogs can run and play. We have a variety of shady spots, trees, plants that harbor animals ans birds. It is blackberry season! Pick yourself some berries. We never use chemicals or spray. Pick your fill of blackberries July-August. Please never bring any unvaccinated dog or puppy. Please monitor your dogs and clean up any messes. Extra waste bags are available in the old milk box next to the porch steps. Credits are given to good samaritans for helping with missed piles! Absolutely no digging is allowed. Please do not allow your dog to dig holes. Private areas: the house including the porch, and wrap around garden. Water is provided unless freezing temps are expected May-Sept PLEASE USE SPIGOT Next to House Chimney for water or NEXT TO HOSE BOX by fence. If not working properly, blue yard hydrant handle should always be open (up) in summer months. Park area is east of the driveway then the grass wraps around back of the house. Have a good time exploring and playing! We appreciate your business and love dogs. Please just encourage them to avoid the porch areas and flower/fruit gardens. Leave any open water line or hose running if found that way in summer months. Residents of the home may come and go during your reservation. This is a rare but possible occurrence.
