Maplewood Private Farm Dog Park (5-acres)

Fully Fenced
5 acres

Welcome to Nessel & Luna’s Private Farm Dog Park -- a peaceful 5-acre nature escape in south Maplewood near the Battle Creek area, just minutes from I-94 and McKnight. What makes this area special is the landscape itself -- the rolling hills, small valleys, mature trees, and natural contours that make homes here feel like private nature oases tucked into the suburbs. The property sits near the top of a hill, which makes for especially beautiful sunsets. This spot gives dogs a private place to run, sniff, explore, and decompress away from crowded public parks and constant dog traffic. The main fenced play area is approx 60 ft x 100 ft, with room for fetch, wandering, and off-leash play. Beyond the fenced area, the property opens into a natural, wooded setting with grass fields, trails, logs, branches, wildlife scents, and plenty of space for dogs who love to explore. The full property is not fenced, so long leashes are ideal outside the main play area. Dogs are allowed to roam and sniff while still staying within safe recall distance. You know your dog best, so please use your judgment and keep them safe and under control. Most neighbors have back fences that border our property. I’m also a builder/carpenter, and I’m constantly working to improve the play area and add new amenities so the space becomes more fun, useful, and enriching for dogs. Check back for future upgrades, including agility-style platforms, climbing features, a heavy-duty spring pole for dogs who love tug and high-energy play, a slatmill/treadmill, and a dedicated water play area during warmer months. There is also a campfire area available at no extra charge for guests who book visits longer than 3 hours. Please let me know ahead of time if you would like to use it. This is a great fit for dogs who need privacy, dogs who do not do well at public dog parks, dogs building confidence, working breeds with energy to burn, or owners who simply want a quiet, spacious place where their dog can be a dog. I just opened this Sniffspot recently, so I welcome guest feedback on how to keep improving the space and making it safer, easier, and more enjoyable for dogs and their people. Resident dogs (two) will be kept separate during visits. Please supervise your dog, clean up before leaving, and close all gates behind you.

We are about a quarter mile off the main road and our 10 acres go deeper into the woods. We have about 5 acres of wooded areas and 5 acres of open trails. It is a beautiful and private property. The property is 100% fenced- the fencing is 3 feet high- there is a gate in the driveway, once closed it is completely fenced in. Opportunity Woods Private Dog Park In Ridgeland

Fully Fenced
5 acres

Opportunity Woods offers 5+ acres of hilly woods and long grass meadow surrounded by a secure 6 foot fence. Several benches are placed along the rustic trails, but of course, there is no need to stay on a trail! A water bowl can be found and filled from the human-potable water hydrant, where you will also find a wading pool for dog and human use in summer. There is a roofed picnic/shade shelter just up the hill from the hydrant. Take in the serene view of the surrounding area, and get a birdseye view of Opportunity Farm, where sheep graze the nearby paddocks. Wire-wheel tables and chairs are available for relaxing, hanging out with your dog, having a picnic, a birthday party with your dog's pals or watching a dramatic rising or setting of a full moon. Have your dog invite their friends to join in the fun, or have a private play date just with you!

7 Acre Fully Fenced Private Dog Park In Lindstrom

Fully Fenced
7 acres

Our property is a dog’s paradise! We have an open backyard, wooded trails, and an orchard out back with tall grasses. We keep the trails and orchard mowed for walking, but your dog will have ample woods, puddles, and other adventures at their disposal! Since we live in the woods, we occasionally have trees fall down on our 5 foot welded wire fence. Please be mindful if your dog is an exit seeker, although we walk the fence and mend any spots we see often. There is a large pole barn visible near the gate where you enter that is our neighbor’s yard. His yard/barn is not visible from the rest of the property once you’re down the path a little ways. For SPRING/SUMMER months, tics and mosquitos are around. We do not spray our land, so make sure you and your pup have the protection you need. In summer mosquitos are often worse near dawn and at dusk, especially in thicker parts of the woods, and less so in the backyard and orchard areas. In the winter, we snowmobile our trails to keep them walkable! There may be slippery spots here and there, so prepare accordingly! Be sure to look ahead at the roads on MN 511 in case of winter weather.

10 Beautiful Acres with River 12 minutes from Hudson WI

Fully Fenced
18 acres

12/31/25 update: I have tried to maintain a plowed trail, but the wind gusts are doing everything they can to stop me. The field has snow drifts over the trail. PARKING only at the barn/field entrance. You will not be able to drive into the field until after snow melt and once the ground firms up, likely in late April to mid May. We have a beautiful piece of land with a (mostly) fenced perimeter and 1/3 acre fully fenced doggy play area. If you drive in by the picnic table you are in the center of 18 acres to play on and will be quite a distance from the road. There are mowed walking paths to the beautiful Kinnickinnic river, far away from other people and animals. You and your dog will love it here! The river is cold and easy for dogs to hop in and out, (not easy for humans right now). If you want to keep them out of the water there is about 10 acres of open field where you park, separate and above the river so you don't need to have them down by the water at all. (although most dogs gravitate to there!)

Kay's 10 Acre Partially Fenced Private Dog Park In Corcoran

Partially Fenced
10 acres

Plan is to open site by June 30, 2026. Front area will have a securely fenced area, as well as adjacent grassy unfenced area. Upon following the driveway to behind the residence, there is another less securely fenced area. This area exits to a pond area and another bigger grassy area. At the point that the path crosses over the creek, a sign posted will request dogs to be leashed beyond that point, both for safety and for the purpose of avoiding intruding upon the neighbor’s property. Various walking paths will be cleared through the small woods, after which walkers may double back and complete their trek in the area around the barn and residence. There will be a small picnic area outside of the front fully fenced private dog park area.

What amenities do Somerset dog hiking trails typically include?

Somerset dog hiking trails feature amenities designed for natural exploration and varied terrain: wooded trails, open meadows, and varied natural terrain, secure fencing options, water stations, waste disposal, and often extras like toys, shade structures, or parking. Unlike public parks with generic setups, Somerset hosts customize their spaces. Browse 16 listings to compare—from bare essentials to luxury amenities perfect for your dog's needs.

How much does it cost to use Somerset dog hiking trails?

Sniffspot runs on a membership model with monthly and annual plans that include credits toward Somerset dog park bookings. Members get discounted rates at participating Somerset spots, and new users can start with a 7-day free trial. There are no surprise booking fee. Your credits cover the reservation. Browse Somerset dog hiking trails listings to see individual spot pricing, and check your membership dashboard to see how many credits you have available.

How clean are private dog hiking trails in Somerset compared to public parks?

Significantly cleaner. Public dog parks in Somerset see dozens of dogs daily with sporadic city maintenance. Private dog hiking trails have dedicated hosts who maintain their own spaces—cleanliness directly affects their reviews and bookings. Many Somerset hosts provide fresh poop bags, sanitized water stations, and regular grounds cleaning. With only one booking at a time, waste accumulation is minimal.

Can I book Somerset dog hiking trails on short notice?

Usually yes! Many Somerset dog hiking trails offer same-day or next-day availability with instant booking. Unlike public parks that might be crowded unpredictably, Somerset private dog hiking trails let you reserve exactly when needed: early morning before work, midday breaks, evening exercise. Real-time availability shows on each listing—perfect for last-minute training or when routines get disrupted.

What's the best time to visit dog hiking trails in Somerset?

Any time works since bookings are private! Unlike public dog parks in Somerset that are crowded during peak hours (mornings, evenings, weekends), you don't worry about timing. Book when it fits YOUR schedule—midday when it's quiet, dawn for cool weather, late evening for convenience. Many Somerset dog hiking trails have lighting for after-dark visits. This flexibility is perfect for shift workers or dogs with special needs.

Do Somerset dog hiking trails allow multiple dogs?

Yes! Most Somerset dog hiking trails welcome multiple dogs from the same household. Some hosts set limits (check listings), but generally you can bring your whole pack. This is perfect for multi-dog households in Somerset where some dogs are selective—they can play together privately without outside interference. Great for sibling bonding or families with mixed ages/temperaments.

Can I use Somerset dog hiking trails for special events?

Many Somerset dog hiking trails welcome doggy birthday parties, training workshops, breed meetups, or group playdates. Private bookings mean your event won't be interrupted. Coordinate with Somerset hosts about capacity, amenities (parking, shade, water), and any restrictions. Some even provide party extras. Check individual Somerset dog hiking trail listings for event policies.

How do Somerset dog hiking trails accommodate dogs with special needs?

Somerset dog hiking trails are excellent for special needs dogs because you can filter for specific requirements: flat terrain for mobility issues, secure fencing for blind/deaf dogs, quiet locations for anxious dogs, small spaces for seniors, or maximum privacy for reactive dogs. Read reviews from other Somerset special-needs dog owners, and contact hosts with questions. The private setting means you can adapt the experience to your dog's unique requirements.
