She has an incredible garden/fairy-labrinth filling and flowing through the backyard, making it feel like a true, if tiny, escape... 🥰 There's shade for the picnic table for the oldsters to sit and watch the youngster play , and play and play and play oh lord) with the puppies in the nice larger open area. 55My dogs and I had such a wonderful afternoon! The yard is charming and lovingly designed with so many interesting areas. It feels like a real little oasis. My dogs had the best time exploring, splashing and running around. The fence is tall and quite secure, so we were really able to relax and enjoy the beauty and privacy of the yard. We were also able to take a dip in the pool which was such a nice added bonus. Kelly is a very warm and thoughtful host. We are really glad we found this place and will definitely be back. Clare H.

My dogs and I had such a wonderful afternoon! The yard is charming and lovingly designed with so many interesting areas. It feels like a real little oasis. My dogs had the best time exploring, splashing and running around. The fence is tall and quite secure, so we were really able to relax and enjoy the beauty and privacy of the yard. We were also able to take a dip in the pool which was such a nice added bonus. Kelly is a very warm and thoughtful host. We are really glad we found this place and will definitely be back.

55Our visit to Kelly’s yard did not disappoint just like our last visit! She’s an awesome hostess with a true love for all animals. It’s not an enormous space but that’s everything my dogs and I want and need…it is a different space than what my boys experience at home daily, larger than our own, with special doggy-geared features all over that keep them engaged even if I myself am resting in a comfy chair watching their antics. But still it’s fully safely fenced I’m not concerned when one of them seems missing for a minute or two…they’re just truly interested and occupied. We brought my mother “Gramma” with us this time, and my 12 year old is actually finally learning how to play fetch proper in his old age lol. We look forward to continuing to visit “Miss Kelly’s yard” thru the spring and summer months! Thank you again Kelly! Eddie & Teddy Bear are sleeping soundly after so much fun! It’s not an enormous space but that’s everything my dogs and I want and need…it is a different space than what my boys experience at home daily, larger than our own, with special doggy-geared features all over that keep them engaged even if I myself am resting in a comfy chair watching their antics. But still it’s fully safely fenced I’m not concerned when one of them seems missing for a minute or two…they’re just truly interested and occupied. Kelly is obviously a huge dog lover and her yard proves this; it’s really designed to be for the dogs to enjoy curiosity, play, and even rest. She does have two dogs but they weren’t seen or heard our entire visit as she kept them securely inside. She did ask ahead of time if she could come out to meet us or if we preferred privacy and be left alone. She messaged a few times during our visit to see if we needed anything. My boys did enjoy sniffing around the yard for her dog tho! We played with toys I brought for a bit but my mutts were very pleased to just explore. The yard is quite secure, fully fenced in with gates to section off areas, and two large outdoor kennels with fun features too. Plenty of water bowls around! Special spot on her deck had a doggie friendly cabana type lounge bed and even her hot tub and seasonal pool, which is still closed. Both shaded and sunny spots too. Even the paved patio is partially covered in artificial turf that my mutts loved. Kelly’s place isn’t fancy but it’s inviting and eclectically decorated, with the needs of the dogs clearly catered too. My only recommendation is that if your dog is very tiny, walk the perimeter of the fence to be sure there’s no small spots that could be breached by your little guy. Mine are 40 and 60 lbs so it wasn’t an issue. We plan to go back next week. It’s a half hour ride for me from Hartford CT area but that’s not too far and was fully worth it! Eddie, Teddy Bear, and I thank Kelly for such a great spring afternoon in her yard! I recommend Kelly’s very dog & human friendly spot for you and your pooch!Melissa W.
