Visitors are welcome to use the equine obstacles available in the indoor or bring your own. High windows in the building prevent visitors from seeing the other animals. Horses and donkeys are kept on site but not in the area of the spot. Openings starting at 30 minutes and up to full day rentals. Happy to chat about weekly club, daycare or spots. You can park on the road or in the grass along the fence line to the field. Please do NOT walk your dog in the unfenced area! Ensure your dog is securely leashed before exiting your car, and walk them directly into the field. Ensure the gate is secured behind you before letting your dog off leash! Please ensure they are safely secured again before exiting the field and returning to your car! *This spot is first and foremost an agility field! There is equipment setup as seen in the photos pretty much all the time. You do not need to be an agility whiz to rent- if you are looking for a quiet, safely enclosed space to let your dog have some off leash time, you are more than welcome here! But do note that it is not a wide open space meant for free running. If your dog has never done agility, do not force them onto any obstacle. Reward them for investigating things, but best not let them have a bad time or get hurt bailing off of a higher obstacle if they are at all unsure. Please do NOT change the height of any jumps unless you know how to do so CORRECTLY! Do not attempt to move or change the height of any tunnels, the teeter, weave poles, or larger obstacles. And please no humans (children included) on or inside of ANY of the obstacles! They are not meant to bear the weight of a human, and they are expensive to replace if damaged. AKC Regulation a-frame, teeter, dogwalk, and jumps from Max200. MAD Agility channel weaves. Tunnels from Clean Run. Keep your dogs leashed for safety when entering/exiting the agility field as the rest of the property is not fenced. It is low tech back there. There is no electricity or running water. Gates are secured with bungees for now until permanent posts & latches are installed. Please bring water, bug spray, sunscreen, proper footwear, etc. The pine trees provide lovely shade, but they do also provide pinecones and twigs. We are an animal loving family who wants your pup to have whatever they need to be happy and healthy and for you to enjoy their company. We’ve got a fully fenced in space for you to enjoy with your dog(s). One side of the space is our house exterior wall, two sides are 6 foot vinyl fencing with no visual distractions and one side is made up of 6 foot metal dog kennel panels which look out onto the rest of our family yard. There’s a hammock, and patio furniture that you are welcome to use. Sunscreen and bug spray provided as well.
