Thanks for checking out our space. The backyard is fully fenced with plenty of room for your dog(s) to run around. The entire space is covered with multi-sport flooring tiles and is perfect for running or just hanging out. We only allow dogs with basic vaccinations and the space is cleaned in between each visit, in addition to a weekly, thorough power washing. I do like to meet each guest for their first visit, but this is not necessary, so long as there is clear communication prior. There is a bag dispenser and trash can available. I provide fresh water and organic apples and other snacks for each visit, but please bring your own food/water/snacks and toys if needed. There are lights surrounding the entire backyard if you plan to visit at night time. I hope you enjoy your time, and am always open to feedback and improvement ideas. There may be some very small gaps (under 4”) under fencing as it was installed this year. We are facing The Great Swamp wildlife refuge with various animals living behind us, so they may be tempted with scents. 😊 While there is secure fencing under the deck, please also do not allow your dog to dig and create gaps, for safety reasons. This is a private home, the bookings are allowing me to recover from this new fence for my greyhound mix. Please be respectful and do not let your dog urinate on the house, deck, deck stairs, etc. This is a beautiful location against the Great Swamp, and I’d like to share it with other four-legged friends. We just moved from nyc to have a yard, so I understand the importance of off-leash freedom! There is a small trash can at end of the carport (near back steps) for potty bags. Please pick up after your dog. We may be home, but we will not bother you. We are located on a dead end, and it is typically very quiet and peaceful here. You are welcome to park in our driveway.
