Gambel Field

Fully Fenced
1 acre

Fully fenced and off the beaten path. With right at 1 full acre, there is plenty of room for your dog(s) to run. A perfect place to work on off leash commands/training or just to let off steam. This private fenced field looks out over a larger 14 acre grassy field. Gambel Field has some new features! We recently completed a new retaining wall. This change makes the spot a little bit bigger and makes the water hose easier to access. We have also installed a new 12' x 20' shade structure over the picnic table and park bench. The larger field is also available for animal events and training areas. Inquire for more information on the large field.

Frequently asked questions about Tonopah dog fields

Why are private dog fields better than public dog parks in Tonopah?

Private dog fields in Tonopah eliminate major public park risks: unpredictable dog encounters that scare puppies, aggressive dogs that trigger reactive behavior, chaotic crowds that overwhelm seniors or small dogs, and disease transmission from dozens of unknown dogs. Tonopah's 10 private dog fields offer complete privacy, professionally maintained cleanliness, and controlled environments. Whether you have a fearful puppy, a reactive adult, a fragile senior, or simply want peace of mind, private bookings give you control.

How safe are Tonopah dog fields compared to public dog parks?

Tonopah dog fields are significantly safer than public facilities. Public dog parks risk: aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission, overcrowding that triggers reactive behaviors or injuries. Private Tonopah dog fields eliminate these concerns—bookings are completely private, all guests have vaccinated dogs (or titers), and hosts maintain clean spaces. 93% of Sniffspot reviews are 5 stars.

Are Tonopah dog fields safe for reactive dogs?

Tonopah owners of reactive dogs choose dog fields because they offer safe, private environments for off-leash exercise without the triggers of public dog parks. Complete privacy means no unexpected dog encounters, no overwhelming chaos, no aggressive dogs. Reactive dogs can finally enjoy full-speed running and fetch while building confidence in a controlled setting. Many Tonopah reactive dog owners say Sniffspot is their only safe exercise option.

Can anxious dogs safely use Tonopah dog fields?

Yes! Tonopah dog fields provide controlled environments perfect for anxious or fearful dogs. No other dogs means no triggers, no overwhelming situations. Anxious dogs can explore a large, open grass area where dogs can run at full speed and play fetch at their own pace without stress. Many Tonopah dog fields offer quiet, spacious settings ideal for building confidence in nervous dogs who struggle at chaotic public dog parks.

Are Tonopah dog fields good for small dogs?

Absolutely! Small dogs benefit enormously from Tonopah dog fields because they can explore without fear of being trampled or intimidated by larger breeds. Many small dog owners in Tonopah avoid public parks entirely due to safety concerns—dog fields eliminate that worry. Filter for appropriate sizing, secure fencing with no gaps, and hosts who understand petite pup needs.

Do Tonopah dog fields work for senior dogs?

Yes! Senior dogs thrive at Tonopah dog fields because they can move at their own pace without being knocked over by rambunctious puppies or young dogs. Look for Tonopah dog fields with flat terrain, easy access, shade, and smaller sizes if your senior has mobility limitations. The privacy means your older dog can rest when needed and enjoy gentle exercise without stress.

What do Tonopah dog owners say about dog fields?

Reviews of Tonopah dog fields consistently highlight: excellent privacy for all dog types, secure fencing that prevented escapes, clean and well-maintained spaces, responsive hosts, and safe environments for anxious, fearful, reactive, senior, and small dogs. Local favorite 14 Acres at Gambel Field is particularly praised in Tonopah. Read reviews to see real experiences from Tonopah dog owners with similar needs.

How clean and maintained are Tonopah dog fields?

Tonopah hosts maintain their own dog fields and take pride in providing excellent experiences. All guests must have vaccinated dogs (or titers). Many Tonopah hosts provide poop bags, trash cans, and regular cleaning. Reviews highlight maintenance quality—browse Tonopah dog field listings to see real feedback about cleanliness and upkeep.
